Rather than just go and leave the other mods to answer any questions about this, I will no longer be part of the mod team and have de-modded myself from today. I just need to take a breather from this forum as it's getting too much at the moment.

I never understand what's going on around here.

Mollie isn't Mollie, she's/he's some guy called Mike. People were sticking their noses into her alledged life by messaging actual family members of hers and found out she was this guy called Mike.

Pretty creepy if you ask me, on both fronts.

Can't believe people on here would actually contact family members, it's a good damn forum for crying out loud

I'm torn on the contacting his family issue though. On one hand I get how angry you'd be in Locke's position or for him, but then this is just a forum and contacting someone's family could cause serious emotional and psychological problems for the person behind this in real life. I don't know, I'm indifferent about it right now.

Why aren't the people who stalked Mollie banned? That's worse than saving someones pictures imo

the bit that odd to me is how did there contact family members on a diffident note i don't mind if members are male or female i still talk to them but getting more sexy female on the forum would be good :evilgrin::laugh::wink:

I think it's absolutely wrong tbh. This is a forum and I think if you're going to meet up with someone from here it's probably a good idea to speak to that person on the phone atleast first, if not cam with them. Not saying I don't feel bad for Locke because I do, but I think contacting Mikes family members was completely out of order and crossing a line. (Locke didn't do that as far as I know though, just to be clear)

Yeah, you're probably right. Especially about the cam thing now, I don't think people should ever really trust who people say they are unless they've cammed. That doesn't mean you can't like them or they can't be accepted on a forum, I just mean on a deeper level...if it goes further than that.

I am just interested in the motives behind it really, that's all. It'd be great if Mike could give us some kind of an explanation but if his family has been contacted then I can see why he might never want to return again. I don't know, it's a weird one this - I just hope whoever he is he's alright. It's a strange thing to do but there could be serious reasons for it.
