Should there be an episode everyday?

or should there be a couple of episodes every week with a live show on Friday?

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 06-04-2013 07:38 PM

monday wednesday friday sunday imo

Jamie. 06-04-2013 07:40 PM

Every day

Headie 06-04-2013 07:42 PM

Every day. It wouldn't feel right not having BB on every night. ESPECIALLY if there is no Live Feed to make up for lack of episodes.

Vanessa 06-04-2013 07:44 PM

Everyday! Even if there's live feed.

I think Sunday, Wednesday and Friday...

armand.kay 06-04-2013 08:17 PM

but I want 24/7 live feed with this.

Tregard 06-04-2013 08:18 PM

Everyday otherwise it's not the same show.

armand.kay 06-04-2013 08:19 PM

and I'm sure each episode would get more viewers if it was like this.

zakman440 06-04-2013 08:20 PM

Everyday.

Jordan. 06-04-2013 08:21 PM

Everyday or the show would be pointless

This. May as well just go ahead and call it TOWIE otherwise

joe199998293 06-04-2013 08:32 PM

Twice a day.

BigBrotherfan4ever 06-04-2013 08:41 PM

Everyday especially now as there no live feed

Jake. 06-04-2013 08:45 PM

Everyday, couldn't be doing with 3 hours a week

Brekkie 06-04-2013 08:46 PM

No - BB is a big commitment and they should at least drop the Saturday episode. Personally I think Sun/Tue/Thu/Fri could work (along with a live feed) but I think the best case scenario for BBUK is 90 minute episodes at 9pm on Sunday and Friday and 60 minute episodes at 10pm from Mon-Thu.

emmetmcl 06-04-2013 10:08 PM

Every night. It's already hard enough to condense 24 hours into 45 mins, we don't need the problem made worse. If BB was still on Channel 4 I wouldn't be totally adverse to having the Saturday episode scrapped and make a Sunday episode 90 mins.

The Saturday show is never very interesting anyway. However, since it was cancelled I've basically made it my mission to watch as much as possible, so I don't take it for granted now lol. (Sad I know)

Aside from that, these is nothing else on on a Saturday, so leave it on I say. It's about the only thing aside from sports and news I watch on TV anyway

armand.kay 06-04-2013 10:52 PM

and I feel the show would be edited better if it there was like a couple of days between each episode... and if we had 24/7 live feed as well I feel the fans will be happy and more of the general public would keep up with the show. I feel like the producers have no intentions of going back to the fly on the wall feel so if there going to over edit they may as well make it tidy and not the hot mess its been.... I'm probably just saying this because after the over kill last year I'm kinda loosing interest in bb.

reece(: 06-04-2013 11:12 PM

Everyday but I'd have no problem if they skipped a day like BB8.

Marsh. 06-04-2013 11:18 PM

If it's dropped to a couple of episodes a week and continues with no live feed then they might aswell go the whole hog and scrap the live aspects, hire actors and call it The Only Way is Elstree.

zakman440 06-04-2013 11:22 PM

I really don't want BBUK to turn into BBUSA so everyday.

emmetmcl 07-04-2013 12:10 AM

I actually think having it every other day would mean a reduction in viewers per episode.

Look at it this way, if you miss one day of action, you've not missed much, but if you've missed two or three days you're out of the loop and may just think better of watching it.

lostalex 07-04-2013 12:17 AM

bbusa and bbcan get away with only 3 eps a week because they have live feed.

I don't think it would work having only 3 eps a week of bbuk because there is no live feed. So yes, there should be a full hour long episode of BBUK every single night. AND a full hour long spin-off show (BBOTS) every night of the week. in my HUMBBBLLEEE opinion.

Alec 07-04-2013 01:27 AM

If we have live feed: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday/Sunday.
No live feed: Everyday.

BBUKAUSFAN 07-04-2013 06:31 AM

even with bbcan live feeds which are "24/7" and them only have the 3 eps.

half the time you have no idea whats going on in the house unless you read websites and follow it to the T.

so i say everyday, even with live feeds. otherwise some characters in the house get no air time. and are pointless

SharkAttack 07-04-2013 07:01 AM

Every single day. With or without live feeds. Would definitely enjoy a 90 minute Sunday over a Saturday, great ideas there. http://i395.photobucket.com/albums/p...umbgoodjob.gif

g17m 07-04-2013 10:36 AM

the only way they could get away with less HL shows through the week is to compensate with live feed, which doesnt seem to be happening, so no

Brekkie 07-04-2013 01:16 PM

The trouble is the TV shows need to literally just be the highlights - not trying to pack everything that happened in the last 24 hours into the show. The main shows should drive the show forward and every minute of them should be worth watching. With a show 7 days a weeks often at least one of those shows can feel pretty pointless (usually Saturdays which builds up to the event we watched live 24 hours earlier), and overall if they have less shows to produce it means the producers can concentrate efforts on ensuring the remaining shows are as entertaining as possible.

As I said earlier for BBUK at the moment I don't think they would consider cutting more than the Saturday episode, and IMO offsetting that with a 90 minute Sunday show which picks up from after the eviction on Friday would work fine. The new all-in-one 90 minute eviction show on Friday would then include a segment of highlights from earlier in the day on Friday showing viewers how the house had been preparing for the eviction.

This is what happened with me during the last two cbb's .

Having only three episodes a week on Big Brother Canada works relatively well for me because there's the live feed to back it up, if anything the highlight shows just consolidate the stuff I've seen on the feeds and round everything up. Without those feeds I don't think there'd be enough stuff in the shows themselves to give the viewer a true representation of what's been going on. Three shows a week works well but I'd prefer four so there's more than half in a week.

I'm not sure about the UK show though, it's a different entity altogether and I would miss nightly shows so I'd rather they didn't. I never liked Saturday shows being skipped either in BB8 but that wasn't helped by them trying to squeeze 48 hours of footage into a standard 48 minute show. I do like the 90 minute Sunday show suggestion but again, I think I'd miss the Saturday episode...there'd certainly have to be an improvement to Saturday's BOTS to make sure the gap was filled sufficiently.

Was thinking this last night - when I went to watch more BB Canada and realized I hate to wait for the next episode to come out.

As a Big Brother fan, I would love it to stay how it is - episode every night. However, in terms of what's best for the show, I think they should seriously go by this schedule:

Highlight Show:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Bit On The Side:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday.

Live Eviction:
Friday

Live From The House [2 hours]:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Friday.

That would ensure excellent ratings. The problem with the UK audience now is they're so use to shows like TOWIE and Geordie Shore etc only being on designated days - Big Brother doesn't have the same power to pull in millions of viewers EVERY NIGHT for 3 months anymore. It's a fact.

If they would stop being in-denial and listen to their fans, get their finger out of their arses and ******ing reinstate the live streaming online or as a red button option on Channel 5, they could literally get away with having 3 Highlight Shows a week and no one would complain. Simple as that.

mkbb 08-04-2013 01:48 PM

3 nights a week with live feed and a BB news show on everynight would be perfect. They viewing figures for both the main hl show and the BBBOTS type show would be far higher if they did this. Also make it more competative. BBUS format with HOH and POV but with house nominations and a public vote still in place. Best of both.

Josy 11-04-2013 10:46 AM

Every day, why should it change?

We need it every day, it's hard enough keeping up with the goings on inside the house especially with no live feed.
