If true, at least it's a sign that they are actually doing something different with the exterior

The exterior is the same that's what the back what the stands look like.

Plus the stage is still there.

Jake Humphrey posted this and asked people to guess where it was, some guessed Elstree but I wasn't sure, is it definitely the house?

I really hope it's real but the filter effect and out of place looking front section make me cautious, does anyone know who posted it before Simply?

It really looks like it, I think he's on the balcony of the Lucas stage.

Does it really look like that much of a mess from outside? And was that thing on the house roof there last time too or has that been added since?

Definitely, that hill is where they filmed the hotel from The Shining and you can see the eviction stage on the right edge.

What it looks like so far is that the Stairs have gone and the stands are being taken down?

There's also some kind of net on the roof where the lighting usually is?

I think the whole top wall of the house has been removed by the looks of it

That stage on the right reminds me of the BB5 stage <3 It doesn't even look like the eye stage, but it's probably not been done up yet.

Absolutely nothing has changed in that picture, but there's still loads of time.

I know that it's probably a terrible comparison, but if you compare these two pics there seems to be a lot of change.

you're right, terrible comparison. They're from different angles and prove absolutely nothing. Despite the fact that that picture is a year old.

Classic. They basically demolish a whole wall for nothing, and keep the silly stage no one liked.

Any need for the cattiness? They're not calling you a liar, they're just making sure there's nothing that hasn't been spotted, which while unlikely, is, admittedly slightly, possible. It's only natural with Marcus's comments and a new picture to go on to, as fans, over-analyse things. A simple "different angles" would have sufficed. Typical Tory :p.

The point that I was going with was that compared to last year they are doing a lot more. The front portion of the house is missing in the first photo, but in the second one, it is still intact, bar the screen. Plus the black cover is not on the scaffholding in the second picture, but it is in the first.

These pictures were taken last May, so comparing that to Jake's new picture it seems very little has changed - and given that the crowd layout is identical there's clearly not going to be any major revamps of the stage area.

Not that I've got any problem with that - I love the current set-up (although they need to keep the eye door closed during interviews this year :bored:)

Where the bloody hell is the house though? Is all that scaffolding one of the walls? :o so they've actually demolished one and are starting part of it from scratch?

Also who'd have thought that it would be Jake Humphrey that would get BB fans talking about the house :p I wonder why he was there anyway

Oh hang on, I've just realised the house is right at the back and not in the foreground of the picture :p I've kept looking at this picture all day and have just thought that it was looking straight down the set as if the house was on the right, when it's actually at the back of the picture...

The scaffolding is the crowd stands

Well there's still two months yet, would it take much longer than a few weeks to build a new one / replace it with an old one? Marcus seems to think a new outdoor stage is happening, unless he means the eye studio from which Brian does the interviews rather than the runway and stairs.

The BT Sport studio is at the Olympic Park though, so it'll be interesting to see why they've ventured to Elstree to film :suspect:

They'll need the stage to be completed a bit sooner that for rehearsals and testing, so if there was going to be any massive revamp to the outdoor layout surely they'd have at least cleared the area by now?

Is it just me or does it look like they're building a pitched roof at the top of the house? Like a roof only on one side slanting up and away from the front of the house? Im looking at the grid of wood on the right hand side. Maybe there's a section that has an upstairs overlooking the garden. That would be cool :conf:

Channel 5 don't make the show, Endemol do, who made the show on Channel 4 too.

As I said in an earlier post nothing has changed. That scaffolding is just the stands.

Im so sick of the set up.

Another change they need to make is take all the lighting and screens off the house. I cant even remember the last time the house exterior even resembled the famous white BB house.

Is there a source for that picture that isn't Simply_BBUK? Unless they never took it down the design on the door would imply that that picture is a year old
