Big Brother 15 Rumors and Speculation Thread
Alright, so we have a few facts and rumors, but no real thread to put them in. So let's start with the facts. Most of the rumors have been talked about on other BB forums.
Facts: -Premiere Date is June 26, 2013 -100 day season -Julie has stated most HGs ever on The Talk -Live Feed has moved to cbs.com -BBAD has moved to TV Guide Network -Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday Schedule -Media Day is on June 10 Rumors: -3 nominees a week -the key box only has spaces for 13 keys(suggest intruders) -BB15 in HD(has this been confirmed yet?) -100% new cast -HGs with pre-existing relationships I honestly am really glad that the rumors are suggesting a 100% new cast. What do you guys think about some of these rumors. I really hope that the 3 nominee rumor is true, because that could make some of the votes really close and make it easier for small alliances to get somebody evicted. |

Im kinda a sucker for pre existing relationships in BBUS ( a la BB6, Enemy Twist in BB8). however did not care for the BB9 pre existing relationships

about the preexisting thing according to two semifinalists that are on Survivor sucks.com. It sounds like Ex Factor 2 (BB4 was Ex Factor 1, where 5 of the first 8 hgs to enter found out that their ex would be entering the house and playing the game with them.)

I'd be happy with a completely new cast. Returning players can be fun to watch, but I prefer a season to stick with either new contestants or all-stars

The key box has always had enough slots for all HG's, despite not all of them being used in the nomination ceremony... "Intruders" will NEVER happen...
I doubt there will ever be more than two nominees per week unless HG's are once again paired with other HG's or there is a major fundamental change in the way the game is played... |
Tbh, intruders already happened with the coaches last year. The only difference between the two is that the coaches had 4 weeks to acquaint themselves with the other HGs, giving them a greater advantage than intruders would get.

If we do get intruders I'll welcome them with open arms but just as long they face some trial before becoming eligible for the grand prize (IE facing a house vote to become a hg, Public vote, Competition) I'm not expecting it though (Or else they would've sent someone in for Scott and Justin for when they got ejected or another vet to replace Dick) of course CBS could say "We Want Intruders" and I think Allison Grodbeast and Rich Meehan (The 2nd in Command Executive producer) would probably do it. Also the launch has been moved to 8:00 to 9:00 PM ET on June 26th. In fact all Wednesday eps will be at 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM ET |
Carnival/Amusement Park theme could look really nice.
Also, the Wednesday time has been shifted up an hour and will now be airing at 8. |

I'm someone who thinks BBUS could benefit from venturing out of the generally accepted "rules" that BBUS lives by, but TBH I really don't see a point bringing an intruder in just for the sake of it... As in other versions they barely stand a shot at winning... |

Also in case you haven't read the Feeds Info thread, After Dark (A late night Live Feed look-in) is being moved to TV Guide Network from Sho2. BB now has a bigger reach. An Hour has been taken away though :( But nothing will change there should be limited commercial interruption and the first week will have the feeds run commercial free. |
I preferred the old Tuesday Thursday Sunday schedule. It felt more balanced. Having 3 days in a row of no BB sucks.

Well I watch it from my television set since I'm American, but I'm sure you can view it the same way that I view BBUK, good ole YouTube.

I'm going to Florida in a couple of weeks and it starts while I'm out there, not that I'll get a chance to or have the time to necessarily but if I do it'd be cool to watch it in the villa :amazed: it airs on CBS right? That'll be on the TV's in our villa won't it?
Oh, and what about After Dark? Will I be able to get that or is that on a subscription channel (idk how many channels they'll be)? |
CBS is usually on the cable plan when I go on vacation, but AfterDark is on TVGN which I'm pretty sure is a digital channel, so that depends on what cable plan they have.

Apparently it looks like Jillian from BBCan might be a special guest at the BB15 Media Day. I don't know who puts Media Day together, but it's good to see them acknowledging BBCan.

CBS is a network. you don't even need cable to see it, it's even on TV's with just an antenna. Every TV in the USA gets NBC, ABC, and CBS.
