Potential/Rumoured Housemates & Speculation Thread
 

Just making this thread to gather information about people who may have made it and also to find people who might be housemates and see their social network activity etc. This should be fun if we're willing to dig deep for some potential housemates!

Housemates were rumoured to have been in hding since 6th of June, however there have been some reports that some went into hiding on June 1 (due to inactivity of social networks since that date).

So far the rumours we've had:
Lydon Sutcliffe (7ft Giant) - Active on Social Media, unlikely to be a housemate.

Phoenix Luna (real name Chloe Reynolds, white witch) - Not sure about her social media? I can't find any accounts of hers on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc.

Annette Edwards (62 year old Page 3 model) - Inactive on Twitter (although it doesn't look like she uses it much), could be a housemate considering all the talk about 'older housemates'.

Nathan Gregory (Welsh Rapper/MMA fan) - Video was removed from Youtube, DS poster claimed he was on the shortlist, however he has been active on Facebook today and yesterday, so he's unlikely to be a housemate unless he goes into hiding later than everyone else.

Anyone else know of any Youtube auditions that were removed or any auditionees who have been inactive on Twitter/Facebook? (if I find anymore, I'll post them here)

Hate to say it, but I think it's still gonna be a fame hungry bunch of young people. Not interested.

Does anyone remember "Miss Ticia"? She is a black French woman from Congo (I think) and she has been pretty quiet on social media and also her audition has been removed from YouTube.

The wannabe's make Big Brother in a weird sense. If a load of normal, straight talking people went in, it wouldn't be the same.

We need one or two air heads in there.

I don't think the Wannabe's do any more. The last few BB's they just had too many sadly. I would love a house full of straight talking normal people who just want to have fun for BB14 going back to BB2 and BB3 types would be nice for one BB. A airhead or two would be okay if they bring a bit of fun to it a la Helen BB2 or Jade BB3.

"Miss Ticia" is missing from Youtube, I remember watching her video and saying she was was a stunning "African Queen" with a French accent. She seems a strong bet because seemed very highly tipped on the forums and has been inactive on Twitter/Facebook/Instagram since June began. Her full name is 'Laeticia Iniongo Eloko' and despite a promise to update people about Fashion every Thursday on her Twitter has gone very quiet and has not kept that promise. https://twitter.com/mnoire1980

It has that feel going by what we've been rumoured so far. They might might throw in one or two old ones just to keep the wannabe number's down. I don't like anyone that has had connections with TV shows on BB or had a brush with fame.

I think with the way the wannabes have been presented over the last few years and the way they have been shoved in the house without a second's thought, they've ruined it, as you say.

However, I do think there's room for one or two wannabe's in there, but as you say, I'd like a few normal people in the house like the old days, but to make the show, we need a couple in there to shake the demo of housemates up.

I hope we have more black people this year

Me too. That's why I'm hoping the fierce Miss Ticia (Laeticia) made it into the house.

I would DEFINITELY watch this series if she was a housemate. C5 would be crazy to ditch her, she's quite eccentric and would bring something different to the show!

no doubt there will be more fame hungry freaks. i dont actually mind if there's some.
but i really hope they dont go getting ex models people like that again. they have no right to go in in my view. normal crazy freaky interesting people we need. not those who have already mixed in celeb circles,

Give me another BB4 so :hugesmile: I rather have that then another BB12 or 13. Awful atomosphere, bullying and fake romances is your thing I see.

I really hate it and its one of the reasons BB has suffered cause they throw in a house full of them. You only need two or three of them and mix them In with some normal down to earth people. Glamour Models have been another minus for me as you said they mix in famous circles and clearly only using it to garner a high pay rise for their services. I don't feel you need a ton of Freaks to make a great BB.

No I've Been watching BB since the first day and it was most downbeat and just zapped of any fun BB I've ever seen. But I respect your opinion. I think BB14 needs to be a massive improvement over the last two BB's and having a house full of wannabe's just won't cut it anymore.

Rylan said on one of his talkshow interviews that no one was picked from audience clips. They just went around to bars and clubs and other places and picked people. No one linking them to youtube videos. Unless he was just lying.. dunduntdun


oh god, no Craig clone please.

BB6 my favourite BB, it was nasty at times but great tasks and funny moment did save it at the end of the day.

He was saying that some of them were scouted from clubs and stuff, he just forgot to mention about the online auditions. He never once said that ALL of the housemates were scouted or that no one was picked from online auditions (he didn't even mention online auditions).

It might be a good thing, if it is true. Over the past few years, all the producers have seemingly been interested in is wannabes. Therefore, some genuinely good housemates may have fallen through the net.

In fact, with the amount of people that apply every year - especially via the proper auditions previously - some amazing potential HM's will have slipped away.... so it could be good thing if they're taking a different stance on the housemate selection process this year and trying to get a good bunch.
