I really hope Marcus tones it down this series
 

I remember when Rylan won and he started screaming into the house.

I actually almost had a heart attack.....But then just cringed behind my cushions and felt embaressed for him (Marcus I mean).

Its like **** me, scramble to find the remote to not die from perforated ear drums.

Here's what I'm hoping for with Marcus:
-Toned down in highlight shows and Emma's enterance.
-No involvement in talking to the house on eviction night.
-If they insist on having the VT at the beginning of the show, have it less dramatic, including Marcus.
-Ideally, no VT at the beginning of any of the shows.

I think it's slightly toned down on the advertisements so far. Recently, it seems he's impersonating his own voice, it's just so over the top and the countdown soundbites he posted online, he talks so slow so he can put my emphasis on the words... just no.

He needs to tone it down big time. He's so over the top.

tbh he needs replacing completely.

I think C5 should have replaced him and started afresh with their own Voice/Over person. He should just stick to voice overing the H/l show for me and leave everything else to Emma.

I don't see why you are all blaming Marcus? He reads out what it says on the script, what the producers want him to say.

his accent is so forced though and his voice is just generally annoying

that is what the start will sound like, he might even tone it up he seems to get worse every series

Poor Marcus :( all he does is try to be a good forum member on here.. his fascination with larger ladies can sometimes be OTT I will admit but he means well, bless

He does go a bit OTT sometimes but he is just reading the script too, who knows maybe it's just excitement? :laugh:

But I disagree that he should be replaced, he's a big part of the show IMO.

I think Marcus responds to the tone of the whole show.

If the production itself was less corny and brought down a few pegs I'm sure he'd follow suit.

I just don't get why he is being made to be so loud. What's the actual point except for to annoy people? No logic. Just another reason why I sometimes think the production team are unqualified and retarded

he's gone from one of the best parts of the show to the worst. he is awful now.

Know what I hate most? When someone is being evicted, and he comes on and is like;

I'm sorry but no. I remember back in the day when 'Big Brother' use to say 'Immediately' you knew the housemate was in trouble and some serious sh*t was going down.

The guy has narrated Big Brother 5's fight night and some of the best twists in Big Brother 7 - and you think he's maybe excited over Rylan Clark winning? :laugh:

And on Launch night when he talks over them coming in, seriously it has to stop.

Also in that video when he says 'Celebrity!' it sounds like he's honestly about to bust a blood vessel.

He's only been like this since it moved to CH5 Patrick, at the end of the day he's doing a job and they are probably telling him what to do.

He tries so hard and it just sounds ****. After C4 BB I couldnt imagine big brother without him and now the thought of him leaving is a wet dream. He's so ****ing irritating, he just puts to much emphasis and tries to make his words sound like a chav, that and he's not big brother.. so why are they trying to make him big brother, Its ridiculous
