Where exactly in that tweet do I tell him how to do his job? I asked him if he was taking on fan's opinions or not.

Believe me, if I wanted to tell him how to do his job - I'd make it alot more clear than that.

He didn't, he just offered an opinion that MOST of the forum agree with!

In fact, he didn't even offer an opinion, let alone telling the guy how to do his job. He was just asking how Marcus would approach this series in terms of voice over style.

No he wasnt rude at all its just the children being silly as usual i preffered bb when it was an adult show there are far too many silly little chav fans now.

He didn't tell him how to do his job, but if he had, that would be perfectly fine. Marcus works in the entertainment industry on a massive show that has been on the air for 13 years, and in doing so he's agreed to open himself up for criticism and strong opinions from fans. If he's so weak-skinned he's probably in the wrong profession.

It's only been recently that I've taken a dislike to him and really started to notice just how much of a parody he's become of himself... I think it was Brekkie that said a good narrator is never noticed, yet Marcus now seem to think somehow that he IS the show...

But on the other hand to a lot of us Marcus stands for everything that is wrong with the show... It's been nothing but endless gimmicks, unsubstantiated hype, and endless recycled ideas and theme's to the point that it has essentially become a parody of itself...

Marcus's response just goes to show that a change is needed... He's become jaded and it's obvious that BB is just a paycheck for him... Even if he's being coached, he should at least be smart enough to realize that he should be standing up for himself... At this rate he's going he'll be lucky to find anyone willing to hire him when the show is done...

I have a feeling Marcus is going to be the new Dowling come next series... That is if we play our cards right and this series actually lives up to the hype they've created...

It is though... It shows that he sees nothing wrong with the way his narration has been going... It's become so intruding that it is cringe-worthy...

When he works in the entertainment industry and works on a show like Big Brother - that has been around for over a decade, and has such a strong strong fan base, he should be a little bit more considerate about how he approaches responses to fans.

He'll ruin the whole series if he doesn't tone it down.

I think it shows that he is a fan... Being a fan of something doesn't mean you can't be critical and that you have to enjoy every single aspect of something... If anything I don't think you can call yourself a true fan of something if you can't find a single fault in something despite the fact that it is dying a slow and painful death...

Theres nothing wrong with being critical of the show but pointedly telling someone how they personally think they should do their job then badmouthing them on a forum is petty and childish.
You dont know how negative patrick is do you :) Its what he does.
It will have taken him a week to get a response out of marcus that wasnt 100% positive just so when he eventually got it he could use it to badmouth him.
