Anyone else underwhelmed?
 

This cast just looks flat and boring so far and it looks like it'll be a "fun" house :rolleyes: ugh it's gonna be a long summer.

Dexter is the only interesting housemate. Sam is awful.

The show needs revamping, until then it's still crap camp channel 5 but with emma in it. First time a show annoys me because of it's graphics!

It's funny how someone who goes around stalking me like a professional troll on forums saying I'm negative is being negative themselves.

I loved it all the way up until the crappy twist with an awful actor who was sussed in seconds.

A lot of bores already, only like Sallie, Wolfy and Sugar Daddy

Did they figure out he's an actor already? He was absolutely terrible in the DR.

The HMs are disappointing on first look but the hosting, house and twist are all very good.

Well, you're literally negative about every aspect of life. I'm calling it how I see it, it's hard to deny that this launch sucked and that this cast is rather lackluster.

A little, but launch night usually flat for me. It has no bearing on how good the series will be. :)

Yes the only ones I think could be interesting is Sallie and Dexter and they will probably be gone in first two weeks

Twist sounds boring. I mean how will he be evicted? Can he win? Not fair if he can win as he will have a lot of screen time

They should have made the launch 2 hours and chucked 14 in and added another 2 in a few weeks.

It just seemed unfinished.

no normal housemates ,twins and mother and daughterwill be one vote waste of time hate it. and the welsh guy will win so pointless looking for winners now thats annoying.
oh and rylan on bots has ruined that for me .. oh and no hot girls

twist was pulled of poorly, anyone could see it was not actually going to happen, could have really scared them by getting a couple of same-ish items as the actual suitcases and opening them up...

The actor dude could have been done better, there's no way in hell he is ever a postman

For me it's the most boring BB launch I've ever watched and that includes CBB. Very disappointed overall with this lot on first impressions. Hopefully tonight and tomorrows live feed will quickly change my mind.

Hopefully they are saving the best until last...

I hope some good one's come in because this bunch are bores.

Maybe that's why it's Part 1 of 2. Just a thought.

I enjoyed it. Seems like a decent set of housemates so far and most of them seem to have personality. And I'm looking forward to seeing the last group of new housemates. This could be a good season.

Just calling it as I see it, this male group is dreadful and the females weren't anything special, and plus the twist is horrendous.

Freddie, John James, Sam, Aaron, Rebeckah, Chris, Arron, Speidi to name a few

Freddie - being so undersocialized as a young rich kid that you can't interact with humans normally doesn't make you a lovable underdog, turned himself into a martyr for being nominated every week for obvious reasons and then became even worse once he found himself into a position of power (I mean bragging that he's going to caveman-**** Bea was one thing but the fact that a multimillionaire trustifarian was SCREECHING "OH LISA YOU'RE MAKING ME CUM!" or whatever the **** at a lesbian twice his age with like, one twentieth the wealth was creepy and gross

John James - without a doubt the biggest example of someone who ruined an otherwise acceptable series by destroying all the females and being obsessed with how they were only their to get magazine deals (hello, sharpied-on abs? :rolleyes:), manipulated production enough for them to let him GET A PHONE CALL TO NATHAN because he was afraid he'd beat him up, created the most oxygen-sucking showmance in the history of history, cheapened Lisa Appleton's fire exit escape strategy, like idk why I even need to explain why he's horrid and why I hated him

Sam - started off okay and then promptly inserted himself up John James's anus so how good can you really be if you're comfortable there

Aaron - the reason BB12 was terrible and unwatchable, his "storyline" that apparently made him "so complex and interesting" was really a few moments repeated over and over again, including treating Faye like complete **** and expecting forgiveness (making out with her best friend and saying "it was *supposed* to be you" what the actual ****) but then giving her the silent treatment for petty **** like burping, acting like an out of touch grandfather who the others just don't *get* when he was born in 19****ing80, changing the shopping list to spite the Wolf Pack (who were like less than half the entire house) (EVEN SO THIS ISN'T ORIGINAL OR FUNNY), whining about every single party only to stop moaning to do the FAKEST dance in the history of history, being endlessly moralizing about how everyone is playing a game except for him (despite admitting in the first week he was playing a game), constructing a faux character narrative where he describes himself as good triumphing over evil, winning because of his RABID fanbase that would like paraphrase Churchhill speeches and have duplicate registered FB accounts and would cite the logical fallacy that "the best HM is the one with the most airtime" again I really don't even know why I need to explain this one it's rather obvious

Rebeckah - a desperate, insecure hag who's so insecure that she clings to anything that gives her attention, even if it's a teenage boy ten years her junior who wears his hats sideways

Chris - IN WHAT WORLD IS SOMEONE WHO LOOKS LIKE THE MICHELIN MAN A GOOD CHARACTER

Arron - he was a huge asshole who had an insane devotion to being the prankster when his pranks were never funny and an extremely pathetic try hard, plus his "showmance" with Sara was arguably the worst storyline in BBUK history I don't know why people are trying to kid themselves that he was this big character who brought so much to the table

Speidi - they did nothing but sit around and mope about how much they have anyone but never took any action other than bitching to each other, avoided confrontation at all costs, blocked any other action in the house from happening with the one week "Speidi vs. the house" storyline being dragged out for a full three week series, and ultimately the things we were promised (Machiavellian scheming, true villainy) just never came about (instead, boring misanthropy and trying way too hard to deliver good DRs) and they are the reason CBB11 was so dreadful


None of them were that amazing I don't see why it's ludicrous for me to root against people I ****ing hate who weren't even good characters

It's a great house and Emma's doing a good job, but the twist is flawed and almost all the housemates are unlikeable IMO.

On first impressions, Dexter will be the best. Early days though.

I don't see how we've even seen enough of the HMs to judge them yet. Takes time to figure out what they are even like.

agree 100%, I like the house and Emma is doing a great job so far, most of my negative feelings are coming from the cast (the guys in particular, the girls are decent-ish) and this stupid twist they're probably going to drag out way too long.
