Lets talk about Jemima since we don't really see much threads about her, what do you all think about her?

I think she seems alright really, does a lot of cooking for the entire house so that's always a good thing and I felt bad when Dan was being a twat to her.

Her voice can be a bit grating sometimes but other than that she's ok IMO

Opinions?

She looks like Zelda from Terrahawks.

Zelda used to give me nightmares when I was younger btw.

She actually has the fourth most threads (after Sallie, Dexter and Gina, lol).

But I quite like her. I think she is an easy target for both the housemates nominating her and for the public in voting, so unless she gets some good edits or misses nominations for a few weeks, I really can't see her lasting.

I like the fact she won't stand for bull**** though, both with Gina and Dan, and she has done a lot more so far than quite a few of the housemates. She also seems up for a laugh and is a bit of a mess when drunk which makes me like as a person and a housemate.

Does she really have that much threads? LOL I never even noticed.

And yeah good point about her not taking any bull****, I like that too that she stands up for herself.

She seems a nice person but Dan's gang will target her next.

I quite like her! I think she was right about Dan being 2 faced because one minute he pretends he likes her the next minute hes calling her out in front of the group- I dont think he knows what two faced means ( it doesnt just mean talking behind someones back)

I'm not keen.

She has a tendency to make everything about her. Dan pointed out one occasion and I noticed her do it when Daley was attempting to open up to the other hm's and let them know he was feeling sad.

Looking like Zelda from the Terrahawks doesn't help either.

My favourite. She's unintentionally hilarious and that's the best kind of housemate tbh.

She quickly became Sallie's puppet, dressing like her and attacking Gina because Sallie had a problem with her. There are few fates more pathetic than reaching middle age and still not knowing yourself.

Taking control in the kitchen is a well established political move, so it gets her no credit with me.

She still seems to be open to a fake romance with Sam, which I don't want to watch.

i dont like her but i dont dislike her either. at least she was involved in some drama and not just wallpaper. for example. coming out of the mangina corner, Daley "Two Farts and a Cry" Ojuederie.

she doesn't seem the brightest , her career as a professional gold digger is a disgrace , she also has bigger muscles than Jodie marsh, that's not a criticism, just an observation, if a lady wants big biceps good luck to her

she is made to look like a fool by the others, she stands up for herself but by the end of the conversation its her that says sorry!, she made a fool of her self on the first night getting drunk and chasing sam,

she needs to look up the word nuance as everything she says is all black and white cockney-talk , she makes grant Mitchell sound like a French philosopher

I like her but she has faded with me, more from the bad mannered angle,I really cannot see if you are asking for something or help from someone else,whether its in the kitchen or anywhere else, where adding one word 'please' requires any real effort.

She has had her moments and I still think it was wrong to give her a warning for Gina's sort of entrapment of her but she has faded for me.
Time for her to come back though and still enjoy watching her.

the gina warning is a good point to mention, she just accepted it instead of showing more conviction and intelligence to fight here case.

Love Jem so far, she's really down to Earth and seems a fairly decent person as well. Would be nice to see her shown a bit more.

Jemima is a nice, sensitive person but Dan/Gina/Jackie are out to get her.

I can't help but find her irritating! I think Dan had every right to say what he did. Just because he's friendly with her doesn't mean that he can't point out when she's being thoughtless to others - it's hardly two faced to do that! I don't want her out yet though, at least she provides some entertainment unlike some of the others... Ahem, Daley.

I have a feeling she's going to become a big headache and leave within the next few weeks. Dan seems to dislike a lot of things she does. I imagine him bitching with her in the coming weeks and her going.

I like the way she stands up for herself, I wish she would put away the teeny short and uggs I suppose they still only have what was in their carry in case though. Dan seems to be targetting her in front of the others quite a lot, and she did herself no favours at all by not wearing the sign (do these people never learn), so she will be definately up.

she seems ok so far lot more down to earth than i thought she'd be. seems up for a laugh which is good. . she has more personality than lot in there.
not sure why she gets a hard time from dan & co as haven't seen her do anything wrong.

I don't like her but felt sorry for her during ginagate, and she got a bad edit the other day when dan challenged her AFTER jackie had for not saying thank you.
In the live feed she explained that when she cooked not all the HM's thanked her for their meal and joe agreed... this bit was left out of the main show.
Trying to make yourself indispensable by assuming the role of house mother never works.

I think that Jemima's a follower. She has no interest in who she really is. Her wants are superficial or presented as shallow desires.

She's ok, she stands up for herself and I like that! She can be abit me me me at times though.

Looks wise she reminds me of a Judy Puppet from Punch and Judy.

Personality wise she seems very self centred and a bit boring.

Some, however, go to extreme measures to secure a future for their little ones. Jemima Slade, 38, is a prime example of a new breed of mother who have started training their daughters to marry for money.

Jemima, from Marylebone, London, has been teaching her 11-year-old daughter Lily how to be a gold-digger for years.

Armed with such skills as how to attract wealth by the way you dress, where to socialise and how to interact with the rich, Jemima is certain Lily will graduate from her “gold-digger training academy” with flying colours.

“There’s the age old saying that money can’t by you happiness but, in my mind, this couldn’t be further from the truth,” says Jemima.

The self-proclaimed gold-digger says there is nothing wrong with educating her daughter in using men for money and insists she will continue to “train Lily up” so that when she is old enough to start dating, she will be fully prepared to bag a millionaire, or two.




Jemima boasts about having dated 15 men worth more than £50million between them, and she doesn’t intend to stop. Her addiction to millionaires started in 1996 when she met Patrick, a multi-millionaire entrepreneur who lavished her with gifts.

“On our first date Patrick took me to Claridges and our bill came in at over £1,000,” she recalls. “Weeks later he bought me a horse purely because I said I was interested in learning to ride.” Jemima was also treated to a five-star holiday in Mexico on Patrick’s yacht.

“We would lie on the deck in matching Ralph Lauren swimsuits and drink Cristal. It was a lifestyle I never thought I’d have and I knew I wouldn’t be able to let go.”

However, when she and Patrick split six months later Jemima started dating a labourer. “I thought I wouldn’t miss the money and I let myself fall head over heels with him. We even had our daughter Lily together but soon I realised that although I was buying him clothes and spending my money on him, he never spoilt me in return.”

Jemima wistfully recalled her time with Patrick and the lifestyle she’d had. “I split with him and made a deal with myself: I was going to date only millionaires.”

Wearing designer clothes and heading to one of the most exclusive hotels in London, Jemima soon spotted a wealthy man to fund her lifestyle. “He had an air of confidence about him that exuded money,” she purrs.

Jemima’s millionaire radar had worked a treat: “I started chatting to him at the bar and discovered he was a Saudi prince. I knew instantly I had struck gold. Patrick’s wealth was merely loose change to this guy.” Jemima dated the prince for more than a year and he lavished her with Bvlgari jewellery, paid for the renovation of her house in Kent and gave her a chauffeur-driven Bentley, which he nicknamed “the black cab”.

“I started training Lily while I was dating him,” says Jemima. “We would go for drives in the Bentley and I’d say to her: ‘Don’t you want a car like this?’ I made her aware of what I was getting by dating rich men.”

However, Jemima ended the relationship when she discovered her prince was married with children. “It didn’t change my opinion on rich men,” Jemima says, “it just made me even more determined to find another millionaire quickly.”

Jemima and her sister set up a dating website aimed at gold-diggers and millionaires. “We created Golddiggers.uk.com in 2008 and have more than 28,000 members. It seems I’m not the only one striving to date men with full wallets.”

With access to hundreds of millionaires through her website, Jemima has no trouble meeting wealthy men so she is now concentrating on training up Lily.

“I’ve taught Lily that what you wear is very important for attracting wealth,” she says. “The other day I came home to find her in a pair of my blue silk Versace trousers. When I asked her why she was wearing my clothes she replied: ‘because they are expensive.’ I have taught her well.”

Jemima is also teaching Lily tricks for wrapping a man around her finger. “Lily wants to be a pop star and I have a friend who works in the music industry,” she says. “Whenever Lily sees him she does everything she can to impress him, from laughing at his jokes to complimenting him on his clothes. She knows he has money and can help her get what she wants.”

Jemima and Lily have spoken about Lily’s future when she is old enough to date and Jemima has put a “no labourers” rule in place. “I constantly tell Lily that she needs to mingle with quality rich. There are lots of women out there who date footballers just for their money. In some ways I suppose we are quite similar but I don’t want Lily to target footballers; they are a bit chavvy for me. I like classy men who know how to spoil a woman.”

Lily has been shown “appropriate places to be seen and socialise”. her mother takes her to top London restaurants and she isn’t adverse to Lily using her website when she turns 18: “There are lots of eligible men on there who’d I’d be happy for her to date.”

As for Lily’s “schooling”, Jemima has every confidence that her lessons are going according to plan. “She’s learning from the best,” she says with a smile

That is really sad.... the poor girl will never know what it's like to really fall in love.

LOL at that article training her daughter to meet/marry a millionare, well it's not going too well for Jemima so far is it? yeah she might be meeting them but she's still not married one...

I also think it's morally wrong bringing up her daughter with that type of outlook.
