Signature Competition 3 theme ideas
 

So yeah, I'll be hosting a second signature competition at some point this month. And I need some theme ideas.

Last competition was music.

We could do music again as it's an easy option and who doesn't like music? Or we could go for something original.

TV, film, sport, video games, Big Brother, nature, maybe a coloured theme, idk.

Hit me with your ideas :spin2:

I'd suggest multiple themes but I guess that runs the risk of people voting for things that match their interests.

Uh... maybe BB whilst it's on? Not sure how good quality the images released by C5 are though

TV/Film would be cool, but I think music will get most entries

Might have the same issue with BB too though, with people voting for whichever signature incorporates their favourite housemate. But I suppose you could apply that to any theme.

Check the Sig. Comp. 1 threads in this section. Basically, you enter up to 3 signatures, they get split into 3 rounds and the winners took through to a final vote.

I suppose the good thing about TV/Film is that it's open to Big Brother signatures as well.

Tbf personally 700x350 already sounds pretty damn big for a signature

The avatar competition didn't have sizing limits specified.

Aslong as it fitted as an avatar on forums. Some forums allow bigger sizes for avatars and in the past this forum has, so I kept it as it always was for the competition. :wink:

Music and TV/Film have been done... I'd love to do video games if enough people would be interested

yeah I don't think there're many interests that get a broad-enough look-in on here tbf, although I'd be content with a video games one

eeeeerm... sports basically writes off more than half of the people who regularly take part in this... could try something pretty open like "2015 / 2014" and just leave it open to interpretation i suppose

Yeah considered Sport too, just risks voting bias for favourite teams/sports represented. Guess that's an issue with any theme though.

In retrospect maybe film and tv could've been broken up into two separate competitions

Maybe something like Future? Technology/sci-fi/dystopia/etc.
