*With luck streaming feed from Midweek.

I had a reply from Ben Frow
the tone was very straight forward so PLEASE make sure everyone knows about it.

the live feed will he hopes be online from midweek 11:30pm/ 2am
but has warned if it fails the Feed is over.
I will be doing a copy of the email

reece(: 05-07-2013 09:03 PM

I'm sure he'll find a way to make it fail.

Rob! 05-07-2013 09:03 PM

i think he is literally one of the very few on the BB team that support live feed though

Raph 05-07-2013 09:03 PM

Yes!

fingers 05-07-2013 09:04 PM

Online only?

oathbreaker 05-07-2013 09:06 PM

Yes online only.
But the tone was much stronger ive just asked the people who still post on DS to make sure those over there know also if this flops the feed is over.
And I agree the guy cant do fairer online I always wanted for the show its where BB1 started.

And if its selected time slot this would be much better..no chuckle brothers eating AND Post eviction fall outs..

Headie 05-07-2013 09:11 PM

This will be good for the summer, but with another 2 or 3 weeks left of schools/colleges etc. it won't rate well until the summer holidays.

Livefeed/Spaceisace
found out Claranet are running Channel5/BB online service and the way its worked out C5 only pay for what the site uses.Hybrid cloud.
We also worked out before the online feed was getting 50,000 users.
this was from 2001/2007 the numbers barely changed.

so anything around 50k watching would be classed as good. after what ben frow said and how final this chance is server overload would be a brilliant signal!!!

BigBrotherfan4ever 05-07-2013 09:34 PM

I like that fact that they are considering it but I think it's a bit late to have it on at 2 am in the morning ....tbh, I would only watch it for a hour at the most at that time of night, I wish they would put it on the TV & I would record it, but Im happy for the people will be able to watch it.

lukee 05-07-2013 10:01 PM

that's the million dollar question now.
It's always felt like two battles I have email Charlie Gardener from endemol and basically asked him what's the score, I doubt will get a reply he normally just plays lip service and wont answer a question

jackc1806 05-07-2013 10:44 PM

2.5 hours a night? Fantastic if it happens!

JTM45 05-07-2013 10:48 PM

It'll probably be on a bit of a delay anyway so we'll be seeing what happens from 10.30 to 1am in the house maybe.
Where will we be able to watch it ? On the official C5 BB site or what ?

jackc1806 05-07-2013 10:52 PM

I retract my **** YOU FROW from the axed thread.

I am not even watching BB, but you deserve a big thank you for persevering with this on behalf of the BB fans.

Patrick 05-07-2013 11:56 PM

Don't see why not 24 hours.

Not like it'd cost extra - also, unless they plug it at every given chance on BOTS and the main show; it will inevitably fail.

Its been so much easier talking to Ben frow than jeff ford..I swear that man he would only reply when a letter went to Richard desmond :joker:
I just hope it comes off because we all know the 7/9pm TV slot was never going to work.

BB started online with luck if this works C5 will realise this core element needs to come back. it hasn't been the same since they axed the feed

Jake. 06-07-2013 08:39 AM

Really hope that this is true, I have a lot of respect for this guy

he's by far the most down to earth person
With luck if we can show them online is getting a good reception next series
will have 24hr feed. I'm not even counting that 7/9pm farce because it didn't stand a chance against the super soaps.

You can record streaming video, but remember your download bandwidth charges.
I'll have a look round to see if I can find a FREE streaming recorder for you.

Samm 06-07-2013 09:39 AM

maybe more people will watch live feed because 7 - 9 is when all of the soaps or on

Patrick 06-07-2013 10:34 AM

I'm not being funny - but I can't see it getting any more viewers than the television streaming.

It'll only be genuine hardcore fans watching it - if they're expecting a million viewers, then no.

I hope they've took into consideration that most people don't really care enough to go onto the website and watch it, like we do - so I just hope they're not holding out for two million odd hits.

Their web traffic must be pretty shoddy, they plug the website at every opportunity. I would guess that they just want to increase traffic- if that happens they are happy. You never know though with this lot...

JohnnyBB 06-07-2013 10:45 AM

if they can get 50k online that would be good! there all set for online streaming bastards should be giving us 24/7

fingers 06-07-2013 11:23 AM

I should think that they will give it the same amount of publicity that they gave to Live Feed on 5* namely: ZILCH.

Unfortunately yes. Got to endure another dull few weeks of school where we don't do anything because no one gives a **** anymore and we're all just waiting for the summer hols to begin.

I'm so jealous of you right now :joker:

oathbreaker 07-07-2013 07:23 AM

Noticed on DS someone mentioned C4 making a loss.

http://livefeeduk.blogspot.co.uk/
I put together all the stuff that's been gathered and most of this was sent to Jeff ford/and Ben frow.

On the C4 loss Unlike Channel 5 which basically runs on private money/money from adverts Channel 4 gets a certain amount of public money which makes it a target for papers like the Daily Mail.
If you notice the recent "scandals" on Channel 5 don't even make an impact apart from the Daily Star.

Channel 4 after the phone votes scandal the board that run the station decided ALL premium rate services had to be axed and phone votes like Bigbrother only could cover the costs NO profit to be made. So when it came to the feed that's why they only charged the insanely low price of 7.99 when most other BB's cost at least 24.99 pounds.

There is money to be made from this

anne666 07-07-2013 09:59 AM

Sorry this is NOT good enough. Some of us have to get up for work etc. Watching HM's sleep probably.
