The celebrity version of BB will kick off straight after the current version ends in mid-August.

And Channel 5 bosses are already building their line up, they have only confirmed four celebrities so far with...

Football pundit Ron Atkinson
and
Model Sophie Anderton
and
Loose Women star Carol McGiffin (she likes a drink or 5 should be fun!)
and
Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby in the house.

They could capitalise on the popularity of contestants ths year if they had a single brain cell but instead throw another CBB in our faces.

The rumoured celeb line up is already starting to make headlines and shadowing the civilian series.

I would for once since 2010 like to crown a winner and let them have the limelight for 6 months after the show ends.

It seems odd aswell watching people move into the housewhich we have watched all summer with the regular housemates we become familiar with.

It just seems out of place.

Havent they got the hint? Last years summer CBB rated very low the final got something like 2.2 million but the one in January got something like 3.8 proof that less is more.

They should just leave it to 1 summer BB 1 winter CBB.

i'm so sick of it..just leave it until xmas...make it one CBB a year and one normal BB a year..christ

It's so ****ing irritating that the civilian series is cut back each year so that they can fill the house full of some more z-listers. I'd much prefer 3 more weeks of civilian as we used to get, I don't care about some TOWIE ******s going in to bore us and waste the budget

One of each series a year is enough, it's just overkill. BB should return to 13 weeks and January's CBB should be 4 weeks long as it used to be.

If they insist on doing two CBB's though I'd at least like them to move the summer one to like October and make it another Hijack. I could probably settle for that.

I find that watching two of these series in a row is too draining, I'm gonna skip it.

I think my biggest issue with having two CBBs a year is that "Celebrity Big Brother 2013" isn't singular and you have to distinguish between the two? I get all the criticisms but as usual I'm here to respond to them!

Regular BB works best as a 9-10 week run IMO. 13 weeks is way too long and exhausting (could anyone imagine another three weeks of BB13? especially without Deana? point proven) and the whole thing just becomes tiresome. The HMs have been in there long enough and things only get worse in those last few weeks typically. The only thing that happens is that people's masks have more time to slip (seriously **** that expression to no end) and that has equally amazing and troubling results.

And I'm sure this is just because I'm a foreigner, but I kinda love the weeks leading up to CBB? I enjoy hearing the rumors of who's going into the house and doing my research and injecting myself into British pop culture. I'm American so I generally have no clue who any of these people are, but I enjoy reading their Wikipedias and googling tabloid articles about them and finding out who I'm letting grace my computer screens for three weeks.

Obviously regular BB>celebrity BB but I do have a good amount of love for both.
