Josy, they are both poor. Also AJ is a pro-presenter and if she doesn't want the responsibility of doing BB live gig she ougt to quit presenting. All presenters relish big live gigs.

Rylan also got to be involved in the rewind task with judy james.

I don't know how AJ has made it as far as she has in the tv industry really, it's not just BB she's useless on, I saw her as a guest on the Wright Stuff a couple of weeks back and she kept stumbling over her words, talking rubbish, couldn't hold a conversation etc.

Rylan's adapted really well to the role I think actually, and seems much more suited to it, if Emma wasn't available I'm not surprised they went with him

I think more people, for some inexplicable reason, prefer Rylan to AJ. Though I think liking neither is the general consensus. Sweaty box Ian should have done it if Emma was away.

What kind of tokenism? There are plenty of female presenters. There are plenty of northern presenters (Tess Daley, Vernon Kaye, Ant and Dec etc)

No I'm sorry I disagree with that, AJ is actually awful, her poor presenting skills and her terrible speech makes it almost impossible to watch an entire episode of bots when she's there.

Rylan has actually done well since he got that job and you would never for a minute think that he was the one that had no experience.

I don't find either of them likeable, but feel Rylan is more suited to that type of work.

AJ may be OK with a pre-learned script plus Autocue.

I actually think men are better presenters in general (more spontaneous, wittier), hence why most prime time gigs go to guys (ant n dec, scofield, brucey, dermot o'leary etc)

She's the only black, northern female presenter. Ticks a lot of politically correct boxes. ;)

She may be a pro but she can't even handle an auto cue. Rylan IS much better than AJ, though much much much worse than Emma (or Alice or Jamie or Iain Lee or George Lamb or . . .).

Non-white people are the fastest growing part of Britain, so it's not really tokenism but reality. Plus in more and more parts of UK black and or Asian people are now majority. :spin::spin:

Is she diddly a pro, at what exactly? She is like a presenter in a comedy sketch of bad presenting. I could find her hilarious in that scenario. I agree with the rest AJ very bottom, Rylan next up under anyone in the history of BB.
