Callum, an unstable personality or a better actor than Michael?
 

The more I see of him the more I worry about his mental health, these rambling monologues and his so obvious hatred of Dexter make me wonder if he COULD be a second actor or just unstable.

He's acting all right, but if he's an actor, he's the worst, most embarrassing actor of all time.

Gina was very, very quick to espouse the idea that Callum was an actor when somebody suggested it!

I don't think Callum is an actor, I just think Callum is not very good in social situations. Knowing me though, I'm probably wrong:shrug:

This very unpleasant exchange as well as his rant at Charlie on Live Feed makes me wonder about his mental state. It's not the way a "deceptively intelligent" man would normally act.

extremely unstable , he really does need some kind of shrink help. and asap before one day he just breaks and who knows what will happen .

he seems to have some deep seated issues, for his own sake at least bb should help him after.

Taking into consideration they have had to take one housemate out already due to his behaviour, I should imagine BB will be on their toes in case anyone else is not behaving etc. Callum may come across as creepy to some but he is hardly off his rocker.
He just needs to be more assertive, tell Charlie to go to hell and take Dexter with her.:hugesmile:

When I watch Callum, I just see passion! This guy is so pumped up and excited about life. I feel people mistake that for crazy...

Like Dexter says, he gives me the creeps.

He's just bitter that Charlie finds metrosexual Dexter more appealing than himself... an alpha maley he-man (in his own deluded mind!) ;)

Remove Charlie from the house and Callum and Dexter could be OK, although perhaps things have gone to far down Negativity Road.

But they have already tentatively agreed to share an apartment after BB!!!!!!

He spends all day "strategizing" about how to get the upper hand on Dexter, win Charlie and, now that Dan's gone, be the ruler of the house (prior to that it was spent rationalizing away all the reasons Dan wasn't his best friend, so he could maintain his illusion of the "unspoken connection" they had from across the room). He doesn't realize that nobody else is that obsessed with everything, so he is coming unglued. He thinks everyone denying that they do the same is all some gigantic head game to mess with him, rather than people who really don't give two damns about him or what he thinks.

I think he's extremely unstable and i'm a bit worried that this whole thing could turn out very badly! Another "why didn't they pick up on his mental problems" type scenario.

I think Callum could attack Dexter.

Nope - other extreme. Callum is the type who will threaten to harm himself in an attempt to manipulate others. It goes right along with how disappointed he was in Charlie for being the only reason he'll leave Friday, leaving her alone without his very necessary protection.

He did say to her that if he goes it will be because of her nomination!!

Dexter already sensed that there's something not right with him. He vowed to look out for Charlie.

I dunno.

Over recent days I think he has become the most compelling character in the house.

But he is paranoid. Deeply so.

A lot of that conversation went along those lines. Essentially: this horrible thing will happen, and it's all your fault, even though I'm the good guy. The part about him going, the part about her saying she adores everyone, the part where she repeated what he said word for word and he yelled at her for twisting his words and putting words in his mouth.

(he honestly doesn't seem to remember what comes out of his own mouth moment to moment, does he?)

However here he claims the phrase

And then there's the whole dressing room thing - it took a while to figure you out (Dexter says he's had Callum pegged since day one) yeah, I had you pegged from day one too!

Wasn't even 10 seconds and he's contradicting himself.

Paranoid, Messiah Complex, chip on the shoulder, loser in love, makes it up as he goes along, deluded, deceiver, monumental bore, mental, wild-eyed, manic, misfit, obsessive, bonkers, navel-gazing: I could go on. Callum is getting stranger by the day. Is he an actor? I said it the other day but only because he seems so unreal.

Did anyone ever find out if he really saved all those people's lives?

I don't think Callum is an actor at all... in fact I think he now has some form of Mental Health Issue as his behaviour is becoming more bizarre and erratic with each show

There's definitely an escalation of the strangeness. It seems obvious and I don't understand why people are underplaying how odd he's becoming.

This metal health that you worry about,( are you an expert, you work in that field??)
Because think about it for a moment,very experienced "experts" watch the show all the time and SURELY they would have spotted it!
Looking daily more and more likely that he will win
I wonder if that's more the worry you have
