Sam's gone up in my estimation

what a nice moment just then with Charlie. what a caring lad he is

burnie 07-08-2013 08:23 PM

Definitely. He's a good lad.

Mystic Mock 07-08-2013 08:23 PM

His a nice guy, but still very dull imo.

Vanessa 07-08-2013 08:26 PM

Nice chap, but a worthy winner? Not in a million years. :joker:

Kate! 07-08-2013 08:29 PM

He's lovely, a real sweetheart. Good for him for going against the general ganging up on Charlie and saying he won't turn on her.

chuff me dizzy 07-08-2013 08:34 PM

A true friend and a lovely lad, his parents should be SO proud of him

DanaC 07-08-2013 08:34 PM

Impressed me.

He's now in my top 3 to win.

Agreed, he is.

Cherie 07-08-2013 08:42 PM

A lovely lad? he is a very immature 24 year old man, whose idea of a laugh is talking about his winky, a very deserving winner he is not.:joker:

I know Cookie just responding to those who constantly call him a lad, like he is 17 or something. He is the same age as Hazel.

Sandz38 07-08-2013 09:28 PM

He is a nice lad I don't mind him at all just don't think he should win love the fact he saw that dex is a decent guy just fat jack sticking knife into dex again tonight

Black Dagger 07-08-2013 09:28 PM

yeah yeah he's lovely.

mizzy25 07-08-2013 09:31 PM

yes hes a nice lad and seems to be getting more airtime now he seems to have come out of himself since callum has gone. As for the winky comment, wasn't that on the 1st night like ages ago?

Videostar 07-08-2013 09:34 PM

He can be nice at times, Dexter was very supportive to her as well.

Nice guys, but Dexter is entertaining as well. :)

DanaC 07-08-2013 09:35 PM

Yes it was.

He may already have come out of his shell before Callum left and we've just not seen it. the sense of closeness between him and Gina and him and Charlie suggests a bunch of unseen interaction.

PrincessIona 07-08-2013 09:36 PM

I agree, he is a good person. He doesn't get involved with other people bitchyness. It's clearly been difficult for him in the house as he's clearly with a group of people who he wouldn't normally mix with and his disability makes it more difficult for him. Only him or Dexter would be an acceptable winner for me

Winkie Expand 08-08-2013 12:20 AM

Aw, Sam. :)

Kizzy 08-08-2013 12:31 AM

Maybe he isn't the most extroverted scene stealer in the house, but thinking about it is that why I started watching big brother?.... no.
This grotesque parody with its pantomime characters is not what initially attracted me to this show. Sam is a regular guy, and I have enjoyed his interactions however infrequent as much if not more than the ones forcing their way into the spotlight.

I'm 24 and love to talk about my winky, am I immature?

In fact wait don't answer that :joker:

Winkie Expand 08-08-2013 12:36 AM

Aw, winkies. :)

Tozzie 08-08-2013 12:38 AM

Sam has most definately gone up in my estimations. BB is editing well now taking Sam right to the final. I still will say I don't want him to win because I think there have been more people who have kept me entertained and watching BB. Sam is not one of them.

:bored:

Because he spoke basically?

Fed up with this. Bores do nothing for weeks upon weeks, wait till the last two weeks and suddenly say boo and then everyone's like 'FANTASTIC. WHAT A BRILLIANT MOMENT. REALLY BEING HIMSELF NOW XXXXX'

Like no.

Like no.

He defended her when she was feeling ostracised, and it comforted Charlie.

I don't give a **** if he's a bore, it was a good thing of him to do after a hellish night for Charlie.

actor99 08-08-2013 01:38 AM

I always liked Sam . just a pity their wasn't all that much. Charlie isn't too bad as it goes. loyal enough. as compared to others. just got to like Dexter. like Gina too. apart from last night. I really don't know what to say about Sophie + twins at all.

JTM45 08-08-2013 05:49 AM

I still feel every bit as strongly that Sam will be an incredibly undeserving winner but regardless of that he did impress me tonight!
I thought it was great to see him sticking to his guns in his belief in and support of Charlie and it was also nice to see him finally starting to think a bit and realizing that he may have misjudged Dexter a bit. Shame that the twins had to try and tell him he was wrong about him........twats!!!!

They're so massively hypocritical!
When they're "mum" said something negative about Charlie they wouldn't shut up about how it had to be gospel because they're bloody stupid mum had said it yet when Sam said about the fact that Dexter had only received two noms from family & friends they dismissed it and said "but they're only seeing 45 minutes and we know better because we see him for 24 hours a day!". What a pair of absolute hate-filled *****wits!!!!:bored:

They never liked Dexter because he was different to them and he'd done loads of things that they hadn't and then when it became obvious that he was more popular than them and was doing better than they were their dislike soon became a deep hatred. I personally think they're some of the worst housemates that have ever been on BB!!!:yuk:

Verbal 08-08-2013 06:31 AM

I like Gina, I like Dexter, I like Hazel. I find their constant bitching, screaming and shouting to be amusing.

But the viewing public will not allow someone be rewarded for being an arse.

This is why Sam will walk it. For being a decent person.

Good to see a lot of you finally coming around

Patricia4 08-08-2013 06:46 AM

Ive liked Sam from the start.

Totally agree with this post, also though it was a nice moment for Sam what he did is no different to what Dexter did on the night of the fight and the morning after, is he getting accolades for not running with the herd? Be nice to see Sam and Dexter becoming closer, I believe Sam was extremely influenced by Callum and now he is gone he can be his own person which is nice but a bit too late for my liking.

Ugh! The twins really get on my nerves. They're so nasty. Glad that Sam is starting to realise that he may have misjudged Dexter.

crocs 08-08-2013 07:46 AM

I don't think he's boring in real life. He is a nice guys but his jokes are not my cup of tea. The only thing is that he hasn't been shown enough. Sophie hasn't been so much either but I'm quite alright with that. There has been occasions when the same people have been shown in the highlights show night after night but you can hear Sam's voice in the background.

The Twins should be out on Friday for that hypocritical comment they made in the Pool. If Hazel wasn't such a sure cert to go I would throw a few votes their way, although it would be nice if Dexter was saved before them..:joker:

Totally agree the twins contradictory comment last night really annoyed me.

Daffodil 08-08-2013 08:13 AM

It was nice of Sam to sympathise with Charlie BUT I couldn't help thinking his hug was forced for the cameras. It didn't come naturally.

It was an awkward hug, more to do with his shyness with women than for the cameras.

joeysteele 08-08-2013 08:43 AM

Sam only said he may have misjudged Dexter, not that he actually had.
Sam won't go back on his opinions thta Dexter was rude and ignorant towards him and others,he also saw for himself Dexter twisting his own words after the Magician task.
What it proves though is that Sam is and always has been fair.

Had though Sam agreed with the Twins,(who to be fair clearly trust their Mothers' words more than anyone elses),he would be getitng hammered on here for not being fair to Dexter.
Since he has made one small positive comment,he is now 'regarded' more.Unbelievable.

Sam has in truth likely seen and heard less that goes on in the house, he has in my view always been fair and dealt with things as he saw them and in his way too.
His statement as to Dexter last night was just another example of his fair minded attitude most of the time which others have totally ignored thus far until he warmed a bit to Dexter..
