Sams the victim of a voting ruse

It would appear that Dexter and Gina fans are voting for sam to be evicted in their droves. They both know that Sam is the only threat to their crown so they are ganging together to get rid of him. Sams odds are sliding faster than Wayne Rooneys football skills.

rusticgal 16-08-2013 10:26 AM

Any idea what the odds are Sam??

Beso 16-08-2013 10:28 AM

Sam 5/2 to go,coming in fast. He's still favorite to win but I,unfortunately, see him going tonight in the most unfair way. Still, he can hold his head high and be safe in the knowledge he's out the vipers nest.

Vicky. 16-08-2013 10:31 AM

Doubt its tactical tbh..as people have been trying to get a tactical vote going for a while and it didnt affect anything. His odds only started dropping after his kickoff on the highlight show.

The splinters left his arse, and his popularity dropped like a stone. Should have kept up the relatively quiet, nice boy thing rather than showing his bitterness :S

Very true parmnion and Gina or Dexter haven't won yet so Sam fans can decide who to go for:hugesmile:

That would be the twins for me:dance:

Vicky. 16-08-2013 10:34 AM

I also think the bookies are partly to blame tbh, offering 40/1 on him while everyone else was around the 2/1 mark. A few decent sized bets at 40/1 and those people to vote..he would be gone.

It's all very bemusing,he's quiet and nice he's slated for being boring,he has a go at Dexter and he's public enemy number 1:joker::joker:

Voting on the show does not effect the betting odds ,its only people placing bets

JTM45 16-08-2013 10:46 AM

Great innit!!!

Vanessa 16-08-2013 10:47 AM

:nono:Let's get Nasty Sam out! He has to go!

RichardG 16-08-2013 10:49 AM

There's not a chance he ever would have gone if he didn't kick off the way he did last night over something so silly. Truthfully I still don't see him getting enough votes to leave tbh but if he does then that's the reason.

Fosse 16-08-2013 10:56 AM

Sam isn't the brightest crayon in the pack and played a very poor game recently.

Vanessa 16-08-2013 11:00 AM

Sams has gone from 40/1 to 2.5/1

Is this the biggest fall from grace since Sezer? :joker::devil:

Sam is handing the victory to Dexter at the moment.

SAM HOLD HIS HEAD HIGH?????

Sam wants to raise awareness for deaf people????Right let see!!!! SAM talked about women gash.boobies, expanding wi...y, watching the girls having showers with callum and feasting on it. yea great ambassador for the deaf.I just have to laugh people want sam to win.:nono:

Fosse 16-08-2013 11:07 AM

Why would the deaf need a halfwit like Sam to represent them?

I think Sezer was a big fave to go?

He just thought he was safe, as he was arrogant as hell.

I do think Sam going would be a bit of a Sezer moment, not necessarily because of arrogance, but I really do not think he(or ANY of the housemates) expects it to be him tonight.

Yes, the bookies have been given the jitters by The Daily scum article I reckon. His odds were ridiculously high to start with to be honest.
Some big money bets gone his way.

Let's make it happen. It's going to be amazing! Sam deserves to go. His treatment of Dexter is unfair. I bet he wouldn't say anything if twins had taken the lowest amount. :nono:

I understand what you are saying but I guess without other housemate fans there would be no show, the show needs people to have differing fan bases. I don't like Sam but his fans as Twin/Gina/Charlie fans are making this a great competition. Really enjoyed this years show. Dexter all the way!

Im_Juz_ChiLLin 16-08-2013 11:18 AM

It's greedy Sam's time to go but don't get complacent keep sending the votes in, GET SAM OUT !!!

Kazanne 16-08-2013 11:19 AM

its not people voting whats changed the odds, its who he is up against and betting only changes on bet handed over the counter

You are right ,hope people on here (apart from if the actually gone into the bookies and laid massive bets) will claim THEY got rid of Sam ,because it is not true ,but Sam is still the favourite to win the show

I wanted him to go in week 6.

And he is boring.. one little rant where he waffled a load of ****e isn't going to make him a good housemate, with any luck he did enough damage last night and has sent himself packing.

Yeah!...it's good isn't it!...Just now he's joint favourite with Sophie to be evicted tonight ...at 2's!

It's good to know that common sense and fairplay CAN win in the end!...Get the bad tempered spoilt-brat that has bored and slept his way through the series OUT! :xyxwave:..

Jimrod 16-08-2013 11:34 AM

The Dexter/Gina brigade will find any excuse to lay into the other housemates that might topple them from their BB assisted thrones - "Sam the bore", "Sam does nothing". Sam stands up to Dexter then it's "Sam the bully", "Sam the vile, arrogant, aggressive sleaze" (note the use of putrid language for merely calling someone out on their lies). Same happened to Callum, same will happen to the twins if Sam goes, same language, same insults, same posters.

Vanessa 16-08-2013 11:35 AM

Bye bye Sam! :xyxwave:

Only just though GGG!...Dexter is closing in ...Fast!...he has the momentum to eclipse 'Golden Boy' even if he survives tonight! [which is looking increasingly doubtful imo!] ....it's going to be a lot tighter than I thought just a week ago! ...it's exciting!!

Everyone seems to think that bookies drift and tighten odds based on bets laid, this is not correct. They will offer bigger odds to attract mug money and if they want they can shorten odds as they like just to protect themselves.Letme explain. If anyone has been to the track and seen someone going up to one bookie and placing a big bet, that bookie rubs the choice out and shortens that horses odds to protect his own book. Others see this and boom, all the odds change. That means that the other bookies who have not taken a penny have shortened their odds due to another bookies big punter.

The only reason sams odds have shortened so badly is 2 fold......dexter and gia fans are rumoured to be voting on him but the DS article has given the bookies the collywobbles and they PERCIEVE him to be less liked due to it but as for money paid on him, that's not true. Votes are not linked to odds. The odds are concocted from information gained and form, not knowledge of votes placed which are for the most part secretive.

If this is the case and bookies are just attracting 'mug' bets rather than reflecting a real change in opinion..then surely theres nothing to worry about. Sam wont be going.

Lister of Smeg 16-08-2013 11:45 AM

Keep voting our block vote is working his odds are in free fall.

Agreed.....look at the win odds they are still the same as they were. Sam seems safe but the bookies are worried about an Aaron style bet to get rid of the fav making way for Gina or dexter. They simply cant afford to push his win odds out to 3/1 or the like because they would be hammered with smart money bets and if he is saved they would need to reform the market. Don't forget that the vote to win comes in this week which is way different to VTE.

Dexter is looking good for the win if BB give san another bad edit. maybe they have a spin off show for dexter in mind like the great pretender or how to be important and loved with a zero personality.

They may even start a new series called embarrassing voters, lol.

How is it unfair?

Sam is the victim of being a bitter twat, who has put his spot in the house in danger due to his actions.
