People actually found Sam's "jokes" funny?
 

My dentist has a funnier sense of humour.... dear god.

Yeah it was in my top 5 favourite things about the series, he had some great ones

His jokes were funny because they were unfunny and he just sat there grimicing at them :laugh:

I found his comments about people genuinely funny though, inparticular the week he nominated Dexter and said he could make an onion cry and Sophie where he compared her to Connect4 LOL.

I found him hilarious. His jokes were corny, but his delivery was funny and his clear sense of delight in the cheesiness of them made me smile.

I also thought he was very funny in some of his comments. He has a way with words that made me laugh a lot.

If you like him you find him funny.

it was like a 6 year old tell you a terrible joke but you had to laugh for them because they're just a kid and they don't know any better

I think you've hit the nail on the head there. Like most comedy it's highly subjective. Coming from someone else I probably wouldn't have found those jokes funny. But I found him funny.

he was brilliant with his one liners. even on bbots they asked him make me laugh, quick as a flash he said, what do you call a women who throws her bills in the fire? Bernadette

I loved his "dexter came in a boy and left a bellend....." even dexter was laughing lol
his connect 4 line was class as was his onion line about dexter
his winkie expansion, his line about an artist with a stinky finger being Picasso , he told gina a bunch of jokes on the bee task too.....all quality gags

Nope, never laughed at his jokes once. They reminded me of jokes my sister would come out with at about 2 years old.

However, I seem to have a different sense of humour to most people. For example, people think I am weird for not finding things like 'Mrs Browns Boys' funny :laugh:

Having said that, a few of Sams one liners were funny..just not his 'jokes'

Now that I found very funny - sorry probably warped sense of humour on my part but sums up some of the threads I've gone through :joker:

I don't think it was that his jokes were funny per se...it was his delivery that made them so. And his one liners had me laughing.

I have never understood the appeal of Mrs Brown's Boys. That one totally passes me by.

I don't know anybody who likes it! I keep seeing it come up as mega popular but never actually meet people who watch it.

His jokes were terrible. I didn't even smile listening to them. Genuinely rubbish.

The jokes were terrible. It was his delivery that was funny. His delight in the puns.

Let me rephrase: I've never met anybody in the flesh who watches it. And thisis the first time I've actually talked to anybody who does.

Mrs Brown's Boys is hysterical. Best ever episode is the one where she takes the drugs and dresses up as WonderWoman.

Well I guess it all down to peoples different sense of humour,I personally have not see Mrs Browns boys,but I do find The Gilbert Show hilarious.
