Did Courtney bully Lauren last night for the $lut comment?
 

There was a clip last night where courtney was lying on the sofa...and in conversation with someone ( the geordie foul mouthed chav one i think)...she said " I would never make fun of trans-genders/sexuals or something along those lines...and then turned to the other girl and laughed..

Lauren didn't seem happy at all..and for a moment it felt like bullying..

Shame because I think Courtney has been really sweet so far but does she have a nasty interior beneath the mesmerizing exterior..

Bullying? Good God no. Such a tossed around word nowadays, she was just explaining that she wouldn't judge somebody in the first instance no matter their appearence.

I guess she was annoyed that someone she considered to be a friend would call her slutty. I don't see how it was bullying?

I like her. She's funny, sweet and eccentric. That is why she gets on so well with Lauren. They're both quite flamboyant. :hugesmile:

Not bullying I think the word you're looking for is rude or uncomfortable.

The only bullying that has been classed as bullying BB was 3 situations as far as I can remember.

Yes well, She does have a job at the moment and has done for a long while. Most people have FB and go on it everyday, what's so outrageous about that? As far as I can remember she had had a job for years but the factory closed down, she wasn't a great HM, granted, but you're making out she was some kind of scrounger who never worked a day in her life, which isn't true

Anyway...back to Courtney "bullying" Lauren ...I can actually see why you got that impression, but in my view though there was no bullying going on at all,...there was a kind of discreet 'clearing of the air' being played out between the 'very underestimated Courtney' and Lauren!
To my mind it was clear that the whole coded conversation was about Courtney informing Lauren that she wasn't to be taken as a mindless bimbo....and could quite easily stand up for herself! ...and demonstrated this by hinting that her initial impression of Lauren was that "she looked like some kind of weirdo...but was too nice to say so!"

...and it was also clear to me that Lauren also understood it this way, and decided to either 'Knuckle-under and let her have it', or 'Save it for a more opportune time"!

...And do you know what?...i've a feeling that these two are going to pair up and become real friends, and a force in the house! :hug:

They were talking about making remarks about peoples appearance. Courtney said she wouldn't say she thought Lauren was weird, because she loves transgenders. She knows how to stand up for herself.I bet that regurgitates at some stage !:joker:

That was not bullying, it was 3 people who chose to operate outside the larger group and actually spent more of their time bitching and plotting than the other group who barely mentioned them from 1 day to the next.

I saw that too, Courtney is one of my favourites but I really didn't like that side to her last night, then again it kinda reminded me that she is only 19 and a little immature, just as Charlotte is. If Courtney starts to show ugly sides like that I'm sure I will go off her as perhaps she isn't as sweet as I was thinking she was. Time will tell. Chopping and changing my mind all the time LOL. I don't see how Courtney was cruel and bullying to say what she said, but it was perfectly okay for Lauren to make scathing, cutting comments about Courtney. What is it about Lauren that makes people think she should be able to say what she likes about other people, but people must pussyfoot around her own issues? The only one of the two of them who's shown an ugly side is Lauren.

And more hilariously... after Lauren made the comments about Courtney, there she was wandering around in lacey lingerie and suspenders looking like an aged stripper. The irony...

If I thought someone was calling me a slut Id sure as **** have something to say...as it was, Lauren explained the context and entirety of her comments and it was all sorted, no bullying involved.

eh? I never said anything about bullying? As I saw it Courtney & Charlotte were having a laugh at Laurens expense, I don't really call that bullying :conf: not very nice perhaps but it wasn't bullying. Like I said, I like Lauren FOR NOW, things can easily change if she starts to appear nasty to me.
