A daddy long legs just appeared beside my face

I made a noise that sounded a bit like a chicken being thrown into a swimming pool, jumped off my bed and watched the creepy little bastard waft under my bed.

Send help

Please

I can almost faintly hear it "prrrttt"ing across my floor, taunting me with its spindly little legs EURGH vom

Nathan this one is spastically throwing itself at the light on my ceiling and swooping down at me every few seconds, I'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown. They're ****ing creepy, they move their legs like they're feeling the air for victims

Livia 02-09-2013 09:51 PM

Catch him in a glass and let him go out of the window.

That would involve going near it, and having to throw away a perfectly good glass. I couldn't possibly drink from it knowing that at one time, a devil long death had been inside it.

I've turned my light out and left my bedroom door open because the landing light is on, I'm hoping it'll be lured out of my room, but it could go for my laptop screen, which means I'll have to throw my laptop across the room and sprint out of the house

The stuff of nightmares right here
Mind I would not laugh if it was a moth D:

I don't understand how people aren't terrified of daddy long legs. It's the way they just splay their legs on your wall and just sit there for ages and then suddenly freak out and start speeding around the room like they're going to murder innocent children and violate the vulnerable

What are they doing when they sit on our walls? Are they sleeping? Plotting? Raping the walls to impregnate them with more horrors? I never have this problem when I'm living in my own flat because I don't ****ing LEAVE WINDOWS OPEN ALL DAY -curses my mother-

Smithy 02-09-2013 10:02 PM

This is karma for not buying applause and preordering ARTPOP on iTunes

Jake. 02-09-2013 10:03 PM

What's even worse is that my ps3 is refusing to connect online, and you think you have problems?

Because they're totally harmless with brains the size of a... of a... of something infinitesimally small. Not even big enough to have the sense to be frightened by a creature as big as you plotting to kill him.

King Gizzard 02-09-2013 10:08 PM

Spiders - crawling, move quickly, generally look scary - I get it

daddy long lets - tiny long legs, move about 0.000034834 miles an hour, float around like fairies, can be killed in about a second - I still don't get it lol

Jake. 02-09-2013 10:10 PM

Nathan is actually a daddy longlegs

Jake. 02-09-2013 10:12 PM

Okay my ps3 seems to be online so your problem is worse

Livia 02-09-2013 10:19 PM

Are you worried about all insects, Zee? Or mainly flying ones?

Z 02-09-2013 10:20 PM

Insects in general I suppose, can't stand spiders, daddy long legs, moths, flies, caterpillars, centipedes, etc etc... bleugh

Z 02-09-2013 10:20 PM

Try aversion therapy... Look at a few google images of flies, then gifs of flies and then go outside and look at flies?
There, you're cured... That'll be £1'000 please.

Kizzy 03-09-2013 11:48 AM

Hey .... you know those spiders that look like daddy long legs? they are the most poisonous in the UK, but the fangs are so teeny tiny and they have so little venom that they are harmless to humans.
Love you.

Z 03-09-2013 12:08 PM

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh Kizzyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!

Jake. 03-09-2013 12:10 PM

Oh I don't know, earwigs and beetles, or are earwigs beetles? are quite bad, as they are hard to kill, and do look creepy.

smudgie 03-09-2013 08:17 PM

Catch it in your hand, cup your hands together, throw it out of an open window......then wake up an realise you were dreaming:joker:

Seriously though..I feel the same way about snakes.

Marc 03-09-2013 08:33 PM

Mr Spider said your hospitality was awful and that he shan't bother recommending you to others

Z 03-09-2013 08:46 PM
