Is 'standard' the new 'quality' in lad talk?

I keep hearing/seeing guys saying 'standard' and I fear its become the new 'quality', 'top man', 'legend' :bored:

King Gizzard 22-11-2013 10:07 PM

Don't really see the problem with it pal

Jack_ 22-11-2013 10:10 PM

standard is the one

Brother Leon 22-11-2013 10:10 PM

Is this 2006? People still use this? :suspect:

Saph 22-11-2013 10:11 PM

nothing will be worse than the 'top man'/'top lad' phase of 2011/2012 though

Jack. 22-11-2013 10:15 PM

One thing I hate the most is when someone says this."Jake is dead Sound" I really hate that

Brother Leon 22-11-2013 10:15 PM

I hate people using the word 'Mint' so much, almost as much as people saying 'Lush'.

Z 23-11-2013 12:26 AM

"Germyle's posted that again." "Standard."

^that's how I use it, dunno if that's what the OP is meaning or if there's some other way that people are using the word standard

Mystic Mock 23-11-2013 02:19 AM

Legend is the one and only, no doubt.

The full on ATRL slang makes me HURL. Same with Bodybuilding forum slang. They're all ****ing retarded and I'll never sign up to those sites

I only use certain words like drag which are fine and if I say 'yaaas' it's being used in an ironic context I hope people realise that

Brother Leon 23-11-2013 12:47 PM

"Drag" and "Shade" and "Stay pressed" are all more annoying than the words in the OP imo too.

Smithy 23-11-2013 12:48 PM

People who talk in lad talk make me want to Kms

They are superior words only to be used by higher deities so it's obvious some may be "pressed" against them :spin:
