You have £5 to get dinner, what do you get

I'd get one of the Tesco finest ready meals with a coke zero and a kitkat
or just a turkey breast & turkey ham subway footlong http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...8/ec20fb7f.gif

this is such an everyday dilemma when at uni  although it's usually what can you get for £3

Jessica. 02-12-2013 03:25 PM

Considering it's €6.05;
I would get a 6 inch sub from Subway with Chilli Heatwave Doritos and Fanta and probably get a bottle of water too out of the change.

Kizzy 02-12-2013 08:21 PM

Put the £5 in my pocket, go home and make a sandwich.

BigSister 02-12-2013 08:21 PM

Either a subway sandwich with crisps and a diet coke or macdonalds cheeseburger plain and fries and diet coke. Maybe a chicken bite from Greggs

Vicky. 02-12-2013 08:46 PM

Snackbox with a piece of chicken breast in it. Large gravy. Drink. KFC :)

Yum pot noodles. 35 cents in Aldi, curry flavour.

Vicky. 02-12-2013 10:44 PM

We have had a chicken and mushroom pot noodle in our cupboard for months. Noone likes them but it came with the pot noodle mug that gav wanted :joker:

Nemo123 02-12-2013 10:44 PM

You really should get as big a bg of rice you can get and supplement it with anything that moves you can find.

Gstar 02-12-2013 10:53 PM

This is what I would do:

Go to the butchers and buy £2 worth of chicken pieces then go to the supermarket for rice, frozen veg and kidney beans. Go home and cook my delicious chicken, rice and peas with veg

p.s. I will have like 60p left so I can still get a rubicon mango

Me. I Am Salman 02-12-2013 10:58 PM

That honestly sounds awful

Gstar 02-12-2013 11:00 PM

I know, ham subs and tesco ready meals, what were you thinking?
