You saying the word "clusters" just made me want to throw up. I am trying to eat sausages and now I feel ill. It's only certain clusters that bother me, it's mainly just one image that's the worst, an x-ray of a child's skull showing all of their adult teeth inside the skull before the baby teeth have fallen out.

Anyway I have a huge fear of rats, mice, butterflies, moths, maggots, flies, most dead animals, especially dead birds.

Josy 12-12-2013 11:53 PM

Heights, probably not a phobia just get a bit scared, feel a bit dizzy when I am up too high.

Spiders - I know lots of people say this but when I see a spider I actually panic so much I feel as if I'm going to pass out, I don't know why they bother me so much since they never used to

King Gizzard 12-12-2013 11:54 PM

what is clusters?

oh dw I clicked the link

King Gizzard 12-12-2013 11:56 PM

I hate looking up at heights but I'm fine at the top of heights is this weird

lily. 12-12-2013 11:58 PM

Unusual perhaps..

I don't know if I can class heights as a phobia, because it doesn't stop me from going up there..

Like I used to have a spider phobia, and I would literally panic and almost stop breathing when I seen one, and there's no way I would have touched or held one.. I finally conquered that fear, but it took years...

With heights, I just get jelly-legs and feel a bit wobbly, but I can stomach it.. if you get me..

MTVN 13-12-2013 12:00 AM

Cows are bloody scary creatures, the way they just stare at you with those dead eyes chewing their cud and you have no idea what they are thinking or what they are about to do next, if they felt like it they could just charge you down and have you at their mercy

Straight from the pit of the hell they are, there's a reason they are one of the animals we eat, need some way to assert our superiority over those demons

King Gizzard 13-12-2013 12:01 AM

my brother lives at the top of an apartment block with a balcony, none of them ever dare go on it but I went out and sort of leaned on the barrier with my stomache if that makes sense...I don't really see the fuss when you know theres something there protecting you

My boyfriend's sister suggested that we go in a cable car over the city because she thought it would be romantic, I have always been slightly unsure of heights but I thought he wanted to, then when we got inside we realised it would be a horrible idea, we spent the whole journey over and back holding on to the rails and each other with our eyes closed. :joker: I have been more scared of heights since then, since we couldn't get out til it ended. D:

lily. 13-12-2013 12:03 AM

Oh that sounds horrible.. The fact that you are stuck there makes it worse.. :/

Yes, that was the worst part, we wanted to get out during the turn when they make sure everything is functioning properly but they wouldn't let us. :bawling: I did take some nice pictures with my eyes closed though.

Yeah, I get this. When I look up at the sky my stomach turns.

Yes, that's exactly what happened, it made me glad I didn't open my eyes at the same time though. D:

Fear of rats and such, but the strangest one I have is a fear of siamese twins, I don't know what that phobia is called though.

It's the whole two people one body, I even find pregnancy a bit gross. But the freakiest thing is when the twins are joined by the head.

Yes, I find it a bit creepy too, but I wouldn't call it a fear or a phobia, pregnancy does make me feel a bit odd though, a little blob sticking to the inside of a person can turn into a human like you or me. D:

That's a good way of putting it

Patterned carpets.

Sounds weird but I have an irrational fear of walking on carpets with patterns on them, its from when I was little and my Nan had them and I stood in a thumb tac, if I go anywhere with carpets like that I feel really uneasy walking on them.

thesheriff443 13-12-2013 07:16 AM

the fear of heights or an uneasy feeling is our bodies own warning system, its telling us we are in danger, and to come down.

cows are a killer, the only time you are safe in a field full of cows is if you are on a tractor.

swinearefine 13-12-2013 08:02 AM

Pretty much anything, it's quite worrying really. Spiders are one of the worst. There was a tiny one in the shower once and it had me cowering in the corner crying for my dad. Bear in mind it was the week I turned 20.

EDIT: OMG and speaking of turning 20, massive phobia there. I'm terrified of aging and don't celebrate my birthday anymore and preserve some weird childhood behaviors whilst around my family, like I just worked up the courage to say "hell" and "bisexual" around them even though I'm like the brazenest of hussies in my actual social life.

I'm also not too keen on sheep - but not actually phobic....

Daddy long legs have gone up to #1 on my list. They were always something I was afraid of but in recent years it's become a bigger deal ever since one got into the house and genuinely chased me around, I know they're completely harmless but the spastic unpredictable way they move around freaks me out so much - they're absolutely disgusting to look at and the way they just sprawl out over a wall for a while and then suddenly flip out and speed around the room honestly terrifies me. My mum has this irritating habit of opening all the windows in the house during the day so of course they come inside and they always seem to end up in my room because life's unfair. I can't stay in the room if there's one there, they gross me out so much.

Also scared of spiders and to a lesser extent moths; not a fan of insects in general. Spiders are scary but generally they keep to themselves, like they'll be in a corner of the room and don't tend to bother you so as long as you know where it is I find them okay... Moths just freak me out because of the way they flap about, like daddy long legs really.

When I was on holiday in Turkey a few years ago we saw this dead wasp looking thing on the ground, it was like somebody had built an Iron Man costume for a wasp and it had gotten inside it, this gigantic maroon coloured thing that looked like it had armour on, absolutely terrifying, it was the size of a king prawn maybe.

mizzy25 13-12-2013 01:24 PM

moths, butterlies I cant believe someone else is scared of them. A few years ago I had a butterly in my conservatory and no way cud I get it out, my mother was alive @ the time and she lived about 5 miles away from me. I went to pick her up in the car to bring her to mine just to get the butterfly out I was nearly hysterical. I hate moths and used to be very bad with those too but then I seemed to have a spate of them in my house least 1 or 2 on a daily basis and one day I forced myself with half a toilet roll to kill one obviously I was in a hot sweat and feeling sick but I did it, I can also do it easier if I don't have my glasses on lol I don't like anything that flies or flutters birds etc or creepy crawlies anything that crawls really, but moths and butterflies the worst.

Z 13-12-2013 01:25 PM

Oh I'm terrified of open water as well; can't stand swimming in the sea or the ocean and I'm terrified of sharks and whales

I hate butterflies as well, in fact i just had an incident before lunch with one, i couldn't leave my office cos he was outside the window

Vicky. 13-12-2013 01:57 PM

Vomit. Be it other people being sick or me feeling it. I will literally fight it for hours and make myself so miserable when I know I would feel better instantly if I just was sick..

Oddly enough, I am not scared when Skye is sick though.
