It wasn't meant badly, she just said that in the worst way possible.

Liz should have been more cautious with her words - that should not be a flippant comment you say because you don't know who will be affected by it

I like Jasmine but she over-reacted in this instance.

She used it as a way to get attention, as awful as the situation she definitely knew that she meant no harm by it.

I agree, it seemed like an attempt to gain sympathy and attention on Jasmine's part. She seemed awfully animated about Casey's nomination and "not giving a ******" about her anymore blah blah considering she was meant to be really upset about what Liz said...

it's a very tumblr type comment or something :laugh:. she could have definitely worded it better, it must have hit close to home for jasmine so I do understand why she reacted in the way that she did, however liz wasn't aware of the situation, it was actually intended as a compliment.

Both of Liz's nom's were based on looks.

This is the kind of thing I'd say to someone and then find out they'd recently lost their dad to a Dignitas clinic or something, I'm totally with Liz on this one, she must have been mortified, no malice in her words at all IMO

There was a time that you had to give full and proper reasons to nominate someone and if Big Brother wasn't happy with the reason you gave you either had to come up with another one or nominate another person. In my opinion Liz nominating Jasmine just cos she is goodlooking wasn't a valid reason. She probably wanted to nominate her for being noisy or in your face or something and didn't want to look bad saying that.

I didn't understand why BB took exception to Lee's reason for nominating Sam but not both of Liz's ridiculous "reasons".

She didn't mean it. It's like me being scared and saying "Jeez, nearly had a stroke!" and someone saying, "Well my X died of a stroke. How ****ing disrespectful"

Maybe look up BBUSA9, now that was a disgusting comment (telling someone to give another girl a noose... and then said "just like her Dad")

My issue is that when Lee said Sam "wasn't into" the 18 rating room task BB stepped in and said the nomination would not be accepted. Then Liz says one housemate looks like her sister (!) and the other is more beautiful than her (!!) and both nominations are accepted. So ridiculous.

Yeah, that's true. I also hate the way they now put so many up for nomination. It used to be the 1st 2 then more if they got the same number of noms, but now they change things just to suit themselves.
I don't see why we need 4 up for nomination - it doesn't seem fair when one person gets 8 noms and another just 2.
