there are countless acronyms that exist which are pronounced as words
you wouldn't say omg or wtf because you wouldn't be able to say them

tib

Z 19-01-2014 04:42 PM

T-i-B-B, it's an acronym so I treat it as one. Some popular acronyms are pronounced as words, yes, but only if they enter mainstream English, and even then for every person that says "lol" there's someone who will say "L O L", to go by that example...

Benjamin 19-01-2014 06:20 PM

t.i.b.b.

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 19-01-2014 06:23 PM

social disease

Jake. 19-01-2014 06:24 PM

tib

Ramsay 19-01-2014 06:29 PM

Tib
Ain't nobody got time to be spelling all those letters out, come on now

Z 19-01-2014 06:32 PM

Tibb sounds like the name of a rubbish dog, like a spaniel or a shih tzu

Pete. 19-01-2014 06:34 PM

T-I-B-B

Z 19-01-2014 06:39 PM

"C'mon Tibb! Here boy! No get out of the river Tibb!"

T* 19-01-2014 06:41 PM

Tib. The correct way.

Natalie. 19-01-2014 07:47 PM

I don't say it out loud but in head tib, can't be bothered with the other way

Z 19-01-2014 07:50 PM

Well I call Big Brother "B B" so it stands to reason I'd call it T I B B.

GypsyGoth 19-01-2014 09:18 PM

I read it as tib, just as I call people here tibbers. Life is too short to be spelling out every new acronym you come across.

Me. I Am Salman 19-01-2014 09:20 PM

Preach

Me. I Am Salman 19-01-2014 09:20 PM

So do the people who call it T-I-B-B say teaeyebeebee-ers :umm2:

Never really thought about it, I guess so

andybigbro 26-01-2014 03:41 AM

T.I.B.B

lostalex 26-01-2014 03:47 AM

tee eye bee bee.

It's an intialism, not an acronym.

yea same here. or when i'm talking about BBUS, I say Bee Bee You Ess, i don't say Bee Bus.

Calderyon 26-01-2014 06:17 AM

Both ways are fine, but i tend to use tib or tibb.

T-I-B-B sounds a little like a radio or a tv channel commercial, like "T-I-B-B, Coming to you every night, bringing news from all things on Big Brother! T-I-B-B, a BB fan forum with no limits!" or something like that.
