Which series had the best overall cast?
Multiple choice.
I say BB6, everyone delivered and there were no wasted spaces and yes I include Orlaith and Vanessa in that. Eugene was the only weak point for me casting wise but at least he was a character and appealed to some. BB7 female cast was by far the best ever but the males were crap, especially compared to the amazing BB6 males. If the male cast was better it would be the second best overall cast BB10 had the second best overall cast after BB6 and I feel that there weren't many wasted housemate places apart from Kris and Cairon. I adore BB13 but mainly because of Deana and to a lesser extent Lydia - lots of good characters but some rubbish ones too like Conor and Ashleigh. BB14 had some good individual characters but a bit meh BB12 was by far the worst. |
Best male cast - BB10
Best female cast - BB7 Best original lineup - BB8 Overall cast - probably BB7 / BB13 |
Oh and the BB5 cast was great aswell, probably have it with BB6 and BB10 cast wise - most of them delivered at some point
|
I need to watch BB6, so for now it'd probably be BB7/10/13
|
Oh **** forget to click BB3
BB6 the best, then BB7 > BB10,BB13,BB3,BB5,BB14 |

BB5 & BB6 were pretty much bore free
|
10 was the best for diversity, but 6 and 7 were the most enjoyable to watch
|
It's just a shame that we had the housemates of the 10th series when the money dried up along with the production
|
10 could have been regarded as one of the best ever if the effort that went into the early series had gone into it and it aired a couple of years earlier before the media and general public stopped giving a ****
The housemates were mostnyl great with some classics like Bea, Noirin and Marcus |
BB7 had an amazing cast, idc even Susie was important as her presence caused a lot of animosity. If she wasn't there who would Grace have thrown the water at? The Nikki diary room moment wouldn't have happened either. BB9 also had an amazing mix of housemates and I forgot to vote BB8
Worst cast: BB12 for being too samey samey and BB10 for being TOO diverse to the point it was ridiculous and desperate |

Right mix of diversity. Not too similar like BB12, but not drastically different like BB10. The perfect inbetween  |
"BB7 male cast was crap"
It had Shahbaz who is better than any male housemate to grace any series of big brother worldwide + Sam & Richard and for that reason BB7 male cast > BB8-BB14 male cast apart from MAYBE BB9 |
Um Sam was female what kinda transphobia
|
You counting Sam as a male though, you can't win your argument for BB7 with those tactics

Pete, Shahbaz and Sezer were relatively good, the rest were dire |

He was annoying a lot of the time, yeah he was entertaining but not the best
|
He wasn't annoying at all he was bullied out of there
|
Because he was annoying the others
|
Nope they were just nasty horrible ******, grown adults bullying and ostracising one person like that
Richard was detestable in the first 1-2 weeks but redeemed himself |
Shahbaz was creepy and too forward with everyone that's why he was singled out
|
They ridiculed him in front of his face in quite an aggressive way, left as an entire group when he came into the room, took his clothes whilst he was in the pool, ate pork flavoured crisps in front of him to try and provoke him as he was a Muslim, accused him of being a bully, plus loads of other things. No way did he warrant any of that.
Pete was the only one who behaved like a human being. Tbh I think Shahbaz was treated worse than Shilpa, it was only a select few who went for her and she ended up winning. Shahbaz was bullied out of the house by pretty much everyone |
I voted for BB5-BB10, all great housemate selections. Channel 5 could never
|
I actually liked the original lineup for BB11 more than most series... Mario, Ife and Steve were the only boring housemates at first, really (and even they had their moments). It was the addition of total nothingness (JJ, Jo, Rachel, Laura, Keeley, Sam... zzzz) and the ramping up of evictions that ruined the series.
|
BB10. It had an odd cast, varied, I do think bb6 was better for everyone playing their part cept eugene but bb10 was still better and more entertaining for me.
Disclaimer: I've watched bits of bb8,9,10,11,13 Watched fully/virtually fully: bb6,12,14 Got so much to catch up on! |

The BB10 cast was AWFUL omfg why are we still trying to kid ourselves, especially with the guys.
1 and 5 win hands down for the most enjoyable casts. |
:bored: BB10 male cast was by far the second best after BB6
|
BB10 cast was **** lmao
Rodrigo & Marcus = absolutely vile, Charlie = annoying, Siavash = strange, Kris = who, Tom = who, Isaac = who, Kenneth = who, Sree = an embarassment, Freddie = overrated I only liked David. |
Kenneth, Tom and Isaac were good in the short stays and Marcus was a great housemate and so was Freddie
BB8 had by far the worst male cast |
BB9 male cast >>>> tbh
