I go through phases, sometimes I love and others I hate her.

I really like her, but i've never actually bought one of her albums. I think she's great though. She's a cool chick, and seems much more down to earth, and has a much better sense of humor than other divas like madonna, britney, gaga, beyonce, rihanna etc..

I do think she's great

Great discography, but have to be in the mood for her.

Basically every album cycle is the same though. Outrageous "I DON'T GIVE A ****" lead single, followed by angsty "why does no one love me" ballad single.

Like her

Yeah I really like her too but the fact her singles discography follows this pattern so religiously is a bit bizarre considering how other such one trick ponies like Avril Lavigne get ripped for it all the time, yet P!nk doesn't. She's good though, I think she's a bit underrated actually.

Like others I have to be in the mood to listen to her, but she's an incredible artist.

I like her but she's a one trick pony nowadays with all her pop rock songs and acrobatics..

love pink. her debut album "can't take me home" remains the best album i've ever listened to in my entire life

I really like her - her concerts look amazing too - she has great stage presence and performance

Well the difference is Avril Lavigne has stayed the same emotional depth and mentality for 15 years. 35 year olds writing about boys and Hot Topic and high school is just sad. Also she can't write a tune.

I agree, just find it a bit odd that P!nk doesn't get criticised for basically rewriting the same few ideas all the time when plenty of others do it and are justifiably ripped for it.

pink writes about relevant topics and I don't think she has ever done this pattern in recent years

Yeah, I think the difference is that whilst Pink has a formula that you can see a trend through her work, it's not as obvious as Avril Lavigne.

Pink has still developed as an artist and moved with the times but you can't see an iota of progression from someone like Lavigne IMO. She's still an 18 year old who hasn't found herself.

I'm not criticising P!nk, Pete, I'm just musing over the fact she gets away with talking about the same things, and as a few people have pointed out, it's because P!nk has evolved as an artist over the years whereas Avril Lavigne for example hasn't.

Enough dragging the pop rock princess.

I think she's fantastic, but like others have said, you have to be in the mood for her. So many of her songs are arguably 10/10 for me.
