How long does it take you to shower?

How long does it take you shower?

Takes me between 5 and 30 minutes depending on whether I'm in a rush.

lostalex 20-03-2014 11:43 AM

5 minutes? really?

15 at the very least for me.

I'm a big hairy man though. I've got a lot to wash.

Kate! 20-03-2014 11:45 AM

10 to 15 minutes usually. Sometimes longer.

smudgie 20-03-2014 11:46 AM

10 minutes average.

Smithy 20-03-2014 11:47 AM

5/10 minutes, I get bored after a while

Yes 5 minutes.

I was in a rush this morning and only took 5 minutes. Sometimes takes me longer to get dressed and presentable than showering.

Niamh. 20-03-2014 11:48 AM

10-15 minutes

lostalex 20-03-2014 11:52 AM

i think you guys are underestimating it. look at the clock tomorrow when you take a shower, i bet it's longer than you think. I can't imagine doing it properly in under 15 minutes.

You scrub every part with soap, right??

Vanessa 20-03-2014 11:54 AM

If i'm not in a hurry then probably 20 minutes. I like to take my time.

lostalex 20-03-2014 12:00 PM

Very quick, 5 mins max, just a rinse to freshen up, I love a soak in the bath though.

I use dove soap. It's great for showers.

lostalex 20-03-2014 12:14 PM

it takes me 5 minutes just to get the water temperature right. fiddling with the knobs.

Glenn. 20-03-2014 12:16 PM

Sanex Original

I use dove to wash my face

Locke. 20-03-2014 12:19 PM

Roughly 6 or 7 minutes

Kate! 20-03-2014 12:20 PM

Me. I Am Salman 20-03-2014 12:26 PM

shampoo my hair
put on soap and use a hand loofah to scrub
wash off
dry up with a towel
put on olive oil
clean bathtub
=bout 20 mins

Kizzy 20-03-2014 12:26 PM

We use sanex or carex as my two can't use soap.

Cherie 20-03-2014 12:33 PM

Got a shower that stays set at the same temp :smug: If I oversleep and have to be up and out I can easily have a shower, and wash condition my hair and use an inshower moisturiser and squirt shower cleaner everywhere in 5 minutes.

Can you not just leave the knobs at the same setting?

Mine stays the same for every time I use it. :smug:

Crimson Dynamo 20-03-2014 12:35 PM

10 minutes tops but i prefer a bath in the winter/spring. It takes me around 25 minutes from entering the bathroom to leaving it each morning.

Shaun 20-03-2014 12:43 PM

Usually about 10 minutes, maybe 15-20 if I'm listening to music.

Josy 20-03-2014 02:32 PM

I'm not one of these people that can just jump in a quick shower even though I have tried the quickest I can be in and out is 40 minutes

:umm2: I hope you are not on a water meter.

Livia 20-03-2014 02:36 PM

Since I had my hair cut really short I can shower, clean teeth, throw some makeup on, get dressed, drink a coffee and be out of the house in about 20 minutes. Baths though, they take longer, what with the music and the candles and the bubbles...

Firewire 20-03-2014 02:39 PM

can never get it shorter than 10 minutes

This is impossible for me, after my shower/teeth/makeup etc I still have to dry and style my hair that takes another 40 minutes or so.

Loukas 20-03-2014 02:45 PM

20-25 minutes generally

nope. I have the old style 2 knobs, one hot, one cold. and it's up to me to find the right balance between the two each time. Some days i'm in the mood for a scalding.

same and i *******ing hate it SO MUCH. Thats why i take so long :(

lostalex 20-03-2014 02:51 PM

it's like the difference between a stick shift and an automatic clutch.

the worst is when the neighbor flushes, then you've gotta adjust mid shower, sometimes with soap running down your face. it takes some effort sometimes.

but i'm poor, so it's my own fault for not having a nicer shower.

Tom4784 20-03-2014 02:52 PM

Around 5 minutes, it used to take me a while though when my hair was longer.

Having my hair cut off has been liberating! I used to have a really sharp bob and I'd have to do it every day, wash it, blow dry it, straighten it... Now I rub my hair with a towel, bit of wax... done.

lostalex 20-03-2014 02:57 PM

i imagine Livia to look something like this...
