Just did some digging, it's not the best launch ever it's the third best launch which is still good as it's up on the last 3 years and we're in the eighth season
Thats good
King Simon will be happy |
no wait I was wrong, it was the best launch ever in terms of overnights
it wasn't the best launch so i'm surprised it got good ratings
so the football help as it move it to a new time slot
that spanish dancing granny won spains got talent and has been on countless shows and all the panel knew this

I love the show and i'm glad it's still doing so well.
calm down I don't understand why you're so hyped about it. it was a **** episode full of singers and all this means is more singers making the edit
I loved last night show. Amanda reaction to the dancing granny was so funny! :laugh2:

Probably all viewers that couldn't be arsed to change channel after the football, Will be half of that next week.

Undoubtedly boosted by the football peak but still a solid figure. Predicting another figure into the double-digits for next week.
The football averaged about 5 million and it rose to 10+ million during the penalties, some may say that it was because of the football but what if it was just the casual viewers who thought that BGT was gonna start at the scheduled time (I was one of these people). Let's not forget that the figures rose at the time BGT was meant to start

Last nights show got 9.31 million viewers and peaked at 11.1 million
it's strange how it gets more than the XF
and rightly so
last night was sh1t
8.28 million (40.4%), +1 included = 9.31 million (45.4%).
^ thanks
Obviously the early time slot and it being Easter Saturday didn't help but I thought it was a ridiculous episode last night, which probably doesn't help.
topped saturday night ratings last night with 9.18 million (42.6%), +1 bought in 897k (4.3%) altogether 10.07 million viewers
9.6 million last night. Peak was over 11 million
undeserved, terrible episode full of singers.
no it wasn't? I don't get why everyone keeps complaining about every episode when they've all been enjoyable and had very stand out acts. The only thing I didn't like about last night was obviously the golden buzzer decision but it was still a good episode with a lot of talent
8.83m (42.3%), inc. +1 = 9.56m (45.9%), peak of 11.2m.
Clearly affected by the long weekend/bank holiday but still strong figures. |
I liked last night but that girl group were average at best - Alisha wetting her knickers..
8.68m (41.1%)/9.39m (44.3%) last night, peak of 11.4m (49%).
Eurovision had 8.79m (41.9%), peak of 10.6m (55.8%). |
Didn't they used to have longer episodes ?
The episodes are an hour now with a good chunk of that being ads. I'm sure in previous years the episodes were at least an hour and a half if not two hours. |
I think Saturday's one was shorter due to Eurovision. Next weeks episode will be 1 hour 20 minutes long!
I hope it flops it's so terrible now
9.27 million viewers last night, a peak of over 10 million
Sundays episode (semi finalists reveal) got 8.43 million
Last night (Semi final one) got over 11 million viewers
It was very good. Loved Darcy, Collabro and the guy doing impressions.
