Yearning: When she isn't expecting,
Tara feels empty and broods for a pregnancy.
She has handed over three children
to two couples, and says she'll
continue to have babies
until her 'womb falls out' - luckily,
she doesn't get stretchmarks

The buzz of pregnancy :umm2:

I am in pain pretty much 24/7, I feel like an absolute whale, I cant sleep properly, I feel like my insides are going to drop out when I walk more than about 10 steps...great buzz

Niamh. 19-05-2014 10:50 AM

Sure

But good her her getting Buzz
while helping so many couples

AnnieK 19-05-2014 11:31 AM

Pretty selfless if she's helping childless couples. Obviously has easy pregnancies so good on her

Vicky. 19-05-2014 11:32 AM

Joking aside, I do admire this woman for what she is doing. I don't think I could do it myself though..I couldn't give the child up after carrying it for months and giving birth. I can't imagine anything sadder than having to hand over a newborn to someone else

I could if the baby wasn't biologically mine but I don't think I would want to put my body through it unless it was for a relative or a very close friend or someone was going to pay me a million or something :joker:

Even then though, you form a bond from pretty much the first movement you feel :S

I would do it for example, for my sister or brother. I don't think I have any friends I would consider close enough to do it for tbh, I know that sounds sad

I was actually asked about a year or so ago to do it for a gay couple I know.

Did your blatant homophobia stop you?

AnnieK 19-05-2014 05:00 PM

I loved being pregnant. I had an easy time really an worked right till the end. I liked the special treatment you get too, I went to a gig the day before my due date and was put in the VIP area....think they were scared I was going to go into labour in the middle if the screaming crowd.

I think I would obviously have some sort of connection with the baby but I think If I went in knowing that this baby isn't mine (and obviously wasn't biologically) then I would be able to just see it as looking after the baby for 9 months. I could think of about 4 friends of mine that I would say are close enough to do it for and I have 3 three brothers and I would do it for them but that's it
