I would take your point if it were not in schools and politics as then it would be like believing in say star trek, no ones business but your own but it isnt and its instrumental in terrorism for example so it needs to be debated.

The girls taken in Nigeria are a direct result of religion for example, no one who thinks Klingons are real has done that to my knowledge.

there's a massive difference between religion and religious extremists. You can't even compare the two. Think of ALL the religious people in the world and then think about how many terrorist attacks actually happen. I mean yeah, it's 'based' on religion, but it comes from delusion, taking religion too far. 99.9% of religious people are sane and don't get all up in people's faces about it.

I just don't understand why people get such a high from telling people they're stupid for having a faith or looking down at them for believing. Just let people get on with their lives.
