On the new BB app, the Housemates profiles have a space for Twitter

they will probably say what they want to tweet to BB and they will do it for them

It might just be a link so we can tweet them

that could be ok though.. They could tweet their thoughts but they might not be allowed access to read replies?

wish they'd bog of with this outside contact crap, always twitter anyway so boring.
if they have to go online it would of been better to have a forum like this. that would screw with their heads more than random messages

I've no issue if they can tweet out but can't read stuff coming in, that might be quite cool

tbh they could have access to Twitter and Facebook for all I care so long as we had VTS over VTE

Im really excited about this idea its the the first time in years something seems really modern and fresh.

Im thinking they may be able to tweet each other and obviously the public can see or maybe they can just update their "status" lol.

As long as they cant see replies from the public then I think its a brilliant idea.

I'd like it if the twitter accounts updated with what housemates say or something, don't like the thought of them all huddled around their ipads tweeting all day

I'm all for them being able to read tweets sent to them, like the screens dotted around the house show random tweets that only show on the screen for a minute or so.

Not for them being able to reply or send tweets though, kinda defeats the object of the isolation. I'm all for new ideas but access to social media completely is a step too far.

I can't get the app to update on my iPad either, it's still got all the old CBB info & video's on it.

This new update is only for iOS7 according to the terms.

According to Emma they get iPads but not to read what's being said about them, probably out-going tweets but no incoming tweets?

Calm down, it's just like the US version in which they wrote blogs etc.

Oh they get there own twitter account just like the glass house.

It's not cos the blogs don't involve social interaction, just a submission to the fans.

I actually quite like the idea of them tweeting as long as they dont get any replies, that's not even contact with the outside world really as they still wont know our opinions

I presumed they would be aloud to see everything but if not, it could be a good idea...

OMG can you imagine if a housemate is being nice to another HMs face and then posting nasty insults about them on their twitter account but the nice HM can't see what the other one is saying about them :joker:

They had Twitter accounts on America's most underrated reality show of the summer of 2012 #TheGlassHouse and... ultimately it didn't affect much of anything at all :shrug:

That's only cause nobody was watching #TheGlassHouse

Oh this does concern me ever so slightly. I'm all for evolving the show but not if it completely cuts out the fundamental groundwork of it.
Have to wait and see I guess. I also saw in the star today that housemates "could" recover messages from friends, family and "maybe even" celebrities on the screen...

I think producers will give them twitter access but realise how stupid they where.

i would hate if the had full twitter access! it would change/ruin the show considering nominations etc will be based on twitter..

strange to think it would happen tho, when they cant even read a book in the house?

Hopefully people will troll and mislead them through twitter and that will at least be interesting, though twitter should not be a part of BB.

I hope this doesn't happen, it'd ruin the whole thing.

I just don't see the point.Unless they're gonna base some tasks around it or something,Maybe they're running out task ideas and need to broaden their horizons.
