I know quite a few people found her view that she doesn't agree with gay marriage a little... ugh? (Not sure what word to use). I did, but the subject comes up in conversation tonight on the highlights show. I got these quotes through in the daily update:

Of course, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I know a lot of people just assumed straight away she was homophobic on Launch, so this is good that they're showing her proper views. I guess she has to be careful with what she says, because people can easily take offense.

She seems perfectly pleasant. She has her views, but doesn't seem to be actively full of hate for homosexuals. Not being for gay marriage and being homophobic aren't always the same thing.

Anyway, more of these real discussions, please! Much more interesting than sex talk.

I bet the producers put her in based purely on her unpopular opinons regarding this and expected explosions but everyones just been very nice about it.

I've noticed that people have forgotten or left out that Danielle also does not believe in contraception.

Now most people seem to have justified her stance of gay marriage (probably because they are not directly affected by it) but how about contraception.
Just think, if Danielle was in power- contraception wouldn't be allowed. Maybe that will change people's views on how much of an ignorant :dog: she really is.

She may hold her views, but she comes of as righteous and snotty. I don't get why they're "protecting" her on BBOTs. Gina was shushed when she suggested that she was coming off as Homophobic. Rylan must get payed a lot to act like he doesn't believe that either...sad:inamood:

They should ask her why if her cult hate on homosexuality why so many of her Priests buggered choirboys. That would be a interesting discussion.

She'd run off and cry. And BB would issue a warning to the person, saying offensive views are not allowed.

..I haven't figured Danielle out yet, the way she goes into the diary room and says she's not comfortable with certain conversations/swearing/alcohol..she seems to make such a thing of it and also of her beliefs, I'm not actually sure whether she's faking some of this...

Anyhow I dont know what to make of Danielle. She seems perfectly kind and approachable but then on the other hand she seems quite needy and quick to find faults in things/people. From what weve seen I wouldnt like to see her get boo'd though, she seems highly sensitive.

..I think I just don't understand how she seems to make a thing of things in the diary room that she must have seen people do before, like drinking alcohol..?..or swearing etc so I'm kind of wondering if her beliefs are exactly what she says they are because if they were..?..she'd be quite comfortable with who she is and I don't think these things would bother her so much/she would either just not join in or go and chat with someone else or have some time on her own etc..she's a bit of an odd one ...

Im not too sure either Ammi. She could lead a pretty sheltered life where she hasnt been surrounded with such behaviour and therefore its all feeling quite foreign and uncomfortable for her. Regardless I think she should be internalizing such thoughts for now as constantly complaining will become tiring for the other HMs, the public and even for herself.

Well, maybe she gets tired of all the dirty conversation because it reminds her of being at work and she just wants a vacay. :hugesmile: She was a sex line operator/webcam girl after all.

...hmmm, yeah but I don't think that leading a sheltered life fits with applying to be a housemate on BB/she would have to have watched it and BB isn't really 'sheltered'..:laugh:..atm, I don't dislike her but I just find her very conflicting in personality and confusing but if it were 'gameplay' then I agree Jords, I think maybe she's going to just become tiresome quite quickly to the housemates and the public ....

In all honesty her views and attitudes towards swearing, sexual conversations and drunken displays annoy me more than her thoughts on same sex marriage, which to be fair to her seem to be reasonably balanced and not at all hateful.

She's a weird one. Definitely not my type of person or someone I'd want to live with but the fact she's getting pissed at such...well...minor issues is a promising thing in the context of the show. I hope she goes off on one soon.

What annoys me with people like her is not the opinions itself but that she seems that she wouldnt want to debate her opinions because shed probably just cry. I have little tolerance for intolerant people
