Pauline Bennett temporarily left the Big Brother UK house, it’s been revealed.



The controversial housemate – one of six up for eviction this week – was taken to hospital for an injury.

The 49-year-old was removed from the house under supervision to get treatment after burning herself while cooking.

A spokesperson for the show confirmed that Pauline had left the house and added: “She returned shortly after her visit.”

Unfortunately for Pauline it looks she’ll be heading right back out of the door again in just a few days.

She faces the axe this week alongside some five other housemates but despite so many facing the public vote, it’s near certain she’s gone.

Thousands have already voted in our poll and already Pauline has some 80% of the vote.

Pauline is up against Marlon Wallen, Christopher Hall, Steven Goode and Ash Harrison in the eviction, as well as Jale Karaturp, who as the victim of former Power housemate Pauline’s killer nomination will always be up until she leaves.

As much as I don't like Pauline, I'd much prefer Ash to go.

Pauline has been entertaining, whether you like her or not. We haven't seen Ash or Marlon until today; one of those two should go.

But as usual, I expect the public to vote out the entertaining housemates again and then complain when it gets boring.

I've got a bad feeling that this BB is going to incredibly downhill when she leaves, I hope I'm wrong.

I don't think it will go downhill. If anything it'll give a lot of the other housemates a chance to come out of themselves and shine. At the moment i think she's casting a large dark cloud of suffocation over the house and her leaving will hopefully lift that cloud.

At first i got excited but i'd rather see her getting her comeuppance when she's evicted to rapturous boo's! She still probably thinks last Friday was just a minor blip and that she'll survive this week. I don't think anything can save her now. She's committed reality TV suicide!!!:xyxwave:

How exactly has Pauline been entertaining - what show are you watching? yes - maybe the first two days or so she was entertaining but since then nothing but a bully to Jale and Christopher and having her little chicks clucking around her because she cooks and cleans for them - she only calmed down a bit because she heard the public's response

She should stay, she's a character. A horrible character, for the most part. But still a character. I'd get rid of the bores first. First out, Marlon. I'm starting to quite like Ash, he's admittedly self absorbed, but is laid back and I like that.
