Helen is now the most likeable female housemate

Must admit I didn't see this one coming

Josy 02-07-2014 02:14 PM

I wouldn't go as far to say likeable but she's one of the ones that doesn't annoy me to watch recently.

Kizzy 02-07-2014 02:14 PM

Getting there, she wears her heart on her sleeve that's for sure. Her response to chris was lovely.

I was surprised at that actually, not one other person bothered to go to Chris apart from Helen, that was nice of her.

jet 02-07-2014 02:17 PM

I don't think any of the females are that likable, and certainly not Helen! She's awful

smeagol 02-07-2014 02:17 PM

yeah and rolf harris is a ideal babysitter lol

Niamh. 02-07-2014 02:17 PM

:umm2:

Peoples memories are so short lol she hasn't verbal assaulted anyone for a couple of days and suddenly she's Mother Teresa

How do you actually know that though? we only saw a few minutes of a whole days worth. Ashleigh and Chris are close, Ashleigh was also upset by his speech, I would bet she also spoke to him but that wouldn't have been "news worthy"

erinp5 02-07-2014 02:19 PM

Helen is vile and certainly not likeable .

Brother Leon 02-07-2014 02:20 PM

I may have to confirm this soon.

Alf 02-07-2014 02:25 PM

She's a Docker and always will be.

Funny how she couldn't be a pleasant human being before she got warned and saw her associates in the house get evicted or booed.

Me thinks this is all disingenuous on her part.

I Was just about to ask Josy where she got her live feed from, but then i saw this, so [2]

Kizzy 02-07-2014 02:30 PM

Some people just need more time to open up and trust than others, she's seeing that she can identify with chris and it's given them some common ground.
He can maybe see she uses a brash exterior to cover the fact shes very vulnerable?

Yup, she's still the most horrible female in there. She has shown a more vulnerable side, but that doesn't excuse the horrible things she's done. And she's still being a hypocrite (the things she said about Ashleigh/Danielle, 'bitching in the corner', 'having a strop when they don't get their way'. She's restraining herself because of the warning, but she's still that same person.

rubymoo 02-07-2014 02:45 PM

No! Helen is certainly not likable, vile woman.

Marsh. 02-07-2014 02:48 PM

I wouldn't say she was likeable either.

But, unlike the majority of the others at least she is what you see is what you get.

She's not hiding behind the "good Catholic girl" bollocks for one.

I don't support her, but she's been less annoying than everyone else the last few highlights shows.

I'll have you know that Rolf Harris really was a great babysitter lol.

I know it's a poor joke but my dark sense of humour couldn't help it.

Well we comment on what we see and that's what was shown

So it's wrong for me to say Helen was the only one to go to him when that was actually shown but it's then ok for you to assume Ashleigh went to him out of all the other hm's...

Marc 02-07-2014 03:06 PM

It's impossible to like her

Yes but you're actually commenting on what you didn't see by stating no one else bothered to go up to him, you don't know that. Helen going up to him would just have been more viewable cos they're not very close and they're obviously looking for Helen redemption stories atm

chuff me dizzy 02-07-2014 03:08 PM

I find the new Mother Theresa Helen ,hard to stomach ,but she needs to stay for viewing

Beso 02-07-2014 03:09 PM

She got mugged off twice last night..haha.

I disagree that they are looking for Helen redemption stories but regardless of that you also suggested something you didn't see when I said something about what we did as well as what we didnt, I only post my own opinion and like most people make that opinion based on what we are shown on the highlights.

I'm totally confused lol, that's like a riddle

There's no point bringing what "may" have happened offscreen up because we'll never know.

The same could be said with Helen's outbursts. There may be times when other housemates have been screaming their head off but they edit it out and only make out that Helen is overreacting.

There's no point because we don't know. We can only comment on what we see. What we saw was everyone stay in doors and Helen sit outside with Chris.

How though?

You questioned my post asking 'how would I know that?' then you followed that with your own assumptions.

I based my assumption on what the highlights showed us, you never, hence the reason I was confused at you questioning my opinion.

Just the way you phrased it, I didn't understand what you meant

You said nobody bothered going up to Chris as if it was a fact, I said Ashleigh probably did as well :hmph:

I never said it as fact I just posted what we saw

Why would you just assume Ashleigh then though? Chris has quite a few friends in there so to automatically assume Ashleigh and no one else is a bit odd.

Of course, that is possible.

I actually agree with you Josy and also last nights highlights were all about Ashleigh in the main, even ending with her smug speech in the diary room.

I feel as near sure as I can be,had she gone to Chris we would have been shown that.
However as you poimted out, the highlights showed others impressed by Chris but only Helen actually seeking him out and talking to him.

We can all assume all we like as often I do too, but there is no arguing that if and whoever did, go to Chris,if they did then it was only Helen's that was shown.
Therefore as you rightly pointed out, because that was shown, it is then a proven fact she went to Chris, whereas that is not the case at all with the other housemates.
