Does attractiveness have an influence on your views?
 

I have noticed that many forum members talk about the attractiveness of HM's such as Kim, Ashleigh or Winston, and how it has an influence on their favourite HM's. If I'm being honest I think Kimberly is the most attractive HM in there and that may have an influence on my views of her :hehe: Does anyone else feel they like the HM they find most attractive?

It has to do with peoples ages, the younger ones who still have posters on their walls will judge someone by the way they look. Personally, I couldn't care less what someone looks like.

Yes,lots of shallow hals will go purely for looks,not on personality.I agree with Verbal,age has a lot to do with it,you can kinda tell which housemates some people will like just by their looks.

Initial impressions quite possibly but the influence of attractiveness should fade come finale night.

Well I do like Ashleigh, but she's not my favourite, I do love hot bitches though as it's a bit of a turn on lol.

The majority of HM's I like i.e Jale, Mark, Chris.. I don't find attractive, but Kimberly I feel I only like her because she's attractive, I mean her personality isn't great and I think I wouldn't like her if she wasn't good looking, don't know why but there is always one HM which is fairly boring but I like because their attractive haha :shrug:

The reason I judge female housemates on beauty and sex appeal as well as what they are like as a person is because I am a man. I have a penis and get aroused by sexually attractive women. If I was asexual maybe I would not judge on beauty and sex appeal and judge the male and female housemates solely on what they are like as a person.

No,I always try to form opinions of people as to how they are with other people, how they act and what they say.

people base a lot on looks. just look at jale and the instant love cause she is non threatening in apperance i.e not good looking
then you got the girls liking the boys no matter what. and then you got people hating on ashleigh which age and beauty is a lot to do with it.

It does matter to some I agree and sadly I think that is reflected in some public voting.

Others implying that by not judging people on appearance makes you asexual was pretty poor.

Im a girl but funnily most of my favourite housemates down through the years have been girls. And No I am not gay or bi. When I saw Kim enter the house I thought she looked beautiful but I didn't know if she was just another of the air head models who are just in there for their looks. I found that she is a very deep person and genuinely tried to help in the very first fight between Helen and Danielle and tried to get them to talk to each other. I have championed her since then and I nearly always stick with my favourite from the time they enter to the time they leave the house. I was thinking back to my favourites down through the years and they have almost always been brunettes and that is just a co incidence. I don't have anything against blondes. I found the guys for the most part in every series pretty fickle

I don't think so. I don't really find anyone in there that attractive. Ash was the most attractive to me at first (though not really my type), but I haven't liked him at all so now I just find him physically boring. The more I see of Chris, the more attractive I find him but I didn't find him attractive at first. I am not attracted to girls, but I find all of the women unattractive, though Kim and Ashleigh would be the better looking ones. However, Kim is an absolute dullard so I'm finding her less attractive as it goes on as well. I like Ashleigh though.

Long story short, I find personalities more attractive than physical appearance. Initial impression of physical appearance won't matter if they have crappy personalities.

No not at all, imo Ash is really, really goodlooking, probably exactly what I find most attractive in a man but he's not a very nice person so I don't like him and hope he goes on Friday.
