I really don't get the Mark love

I don't find him funny, I don't find him genuine - and I'm stunned that people on here, some of the most cynical fans I've come across in the Big Brother community actually seem to want him to win - he's as fake as the twins were last year.
Wearing sunglasses because you're crying? Please.
He claims to like Christopher then treats him like utter ****. If Helen were to have a massive row with him, Mark would side with Helen in an instant. By far my least favourite in there - and the house would lose nothing if he went, aside from perhaps their minds.

Vanessa 07-07-2014 04:08 AM

I think he's hilarious! :joker:

Patricia4 07-07-2014 05:20 AM

Yes I like him.

rubymoo 07-07-2014 05:37 AM

He's sort of like a puppy. He'd go to anyone for a treat, he's yappy, he's mischievious, he's annoying but in a lovable way, he makes you laugh and he likes to follow someone around!:dog:

That's why i like him!

Verbal 07-07-2014 05:51 AM

He is inoffensive, harmless and self deprecating without even realising it. He'll be in the final easily.

alex_front2 07-07-2014 05:51 AM

Can't stand him but being camp / gay he's seen as an innocuous clown. He bitches, he's just being a witty diva queen. A woman bitches and she's being, erm a bitch.

Verbal 07-07-2014 05:53 AM

He is the Constable Goody of the series

joeysteele 07-07-2014 05:54 AM

Not saying I want him to win but I do find his antics hilarious too.

At least he brings lighter moments to this really drab and getting worse series, for me anyway.

GypsyGoth 07-07-2014 07:18 AM

Apart from his act where he pretends to be stupid to entertain the viewers, he has done a couple of things in there that make him stand to me out as a housemate.

He stood up for Jale when she was called a maggot.

Also he pointed out to the guys around Helen that they encouraged her to say things for their amusement, things which could get her into trouble. He told them to stop.

Pete. 07-07-2014 07:20 AM

Great housemate :clap1:

Locke. 07-07-2014 07:23 AM

We will have no negative threads on the most stylish and classy housemate UK television has ever seen

Get this **** locked quick Josy!!!

Yes he did stand up to the maggot comment thrown at Jale from Ash but then he goes and lets himself down by sitting there saying nothing as Helen ripped into his new bff Christopher.
He also said he is no fence sitter which is clearly a lie after last night show.

oh well

not like he's very relevant

Johnnyuk123 07-07-2014 07:30 AM

No I don't think Mark is not relevant at all, he's quite fun in the house. But to say he doesn't sit on the fence many times then do just that is a bit of a let down.

The same could be said for Mark and all the others.

Johnnyuk123 07-07-2014 07:43 AM

Example: Last night Mark was seen banging on the diary room door wanting Christopher to come out of the diary room shouting... Christopher I need you.

i totally agree with you. but i am afraid the public seem to like to like this. very sad as he is repulsive and so full on.

mooo 07-07-2014 09:57 AM

He's adorable!

Jemal 07-07-2014 10:06 AM

Agree with op.

jet 07-07-2014 10:08 AM

Mark's in my top 3. Out of all the HM's he makes me laugh and entertains me the most.

You summed up how I feel about Mark - I really can't stand him and don't find him funny in the least.

Daffodil 07-07-2014 10:43 AM

Love his accent, love his enthusiasm, love his ability to speak out when he sees wrong.

:dazzler:  :dazzler:

HBB1508 07-07-2014 10:47 AM

I would like him if he wasn't such a reality tv ***** - he seems to have done the rounds and thinks he knows what the public want and for that I really can't like him at all.

sampvt 07-07-2014 11:13 AM

He is supposed to be one on Rylans best friends and got fast tracked to the show plus I bet he has been groomed and knows what the GBP need to see. He is way too camp and calculated for my liking. Even when he got gunged in bed and in the garden, he seemed to wait a while before formulating a response which was as usual camp and scripted for maximum effect. Last night he ran round the house looking for his buddie like a 5 yr old.

Sorry but he is a fake and is working to a script and an ''everybody should love me and I love everyone'' game plan. He is a media and virtual reality ***** and I am sorry, but he does not float my boat and before I get jumped on......no I am not disliking him because i am a homophobic, because I am not, no matter what some of my homosexual nemesis,s might say.

Jamesy 07-07-2014 11:16 AM

He's too much of a tv ***** and clearly didn't audition directly for the show. He gives a bad name to gay men and is too stereotypical and over the top for my liking. Can't stand him. Sorry Mark lovers.

Strictly Jake 07-07-2014 12:15 PM

I really didn't like him at first. Found him totally fake, way over the top and a wannabe. He bummed Pauline for giving him that money and him Pauline and Helen were a bitchy little group. He realised Helen and Pauline weren't popular and decided to latch on to jale and Matthew who he thought were more popular. Now he will be wanting to latch on to Winston Chris and Christopher. He will stick to whoever is popular and make him getting to the final easier. So yeah still don't find him genuine and he irritates me. But I find him funny, he seems to be one of the only ones who want to have fun. I enjoy watching him so yes I like him. But it does show what a pitiful show this is that my top 3 are miserable Ashleigh, megabitch Helen, and fake mark

CaudleHalbard 07-07-2014 12:36 PM

I would love to see Mark evicted - but it ain't gonna happen. :(

His made me laugh twice in the whole series so I do agree with you for the most part.

Tbh it's Housemates like Mark that are making it tempting for me to stop watching this series because his so TOWIEfied and so annoying in almost every way.

Marsh. 07-07-2014 05:11 PM

What do you mean by TOWIEfied?

He gives gay men a bad name because he's camp? :umm2:

Bit judgemental.

That's not any level of camp I've ever seen in the real world, Christopher is naturally camp, people like Rylan and Mark are faking it imo as no one is that level of camp.
