BB: Armageddon Details Confirmed

Channel 5 have today confirmed what will be in store for the Housemates during Big Brother: Armageddon

Starting Monday, Emma Willis will host a special live edition of Big Brother where the Housemates will nominate face to face. Instead of the Housemates with the most nominations being nominated for eviction on Friday, the Housemate with the most nominations will be evicted immediately.

Also during Armageddon, Three brand new housemates will be introduced to the house and they will immediately affect the lives of the original housemates. The new additions will battle it out against the existing housemates to win rewards to help them cope with everything that Armageddon Week is going to throw at them.

Big Brother: Armageddon begins on Monday.

Couldn't see a thread on this?

JohnnyBB 11-07-2014 09:21 AM

Sounds like for once the house be changed for ever lets hope these new housemates are loud and up for it!

smeagol 11-07-2014 09:22 AM

3 new housemates seems a bit much. just what we need more people to despise lol

Locke. 11-07-2014 09:23 AM

Well... Marlon has really been screwed over then, lol. No way he stays with the first twist.

BBAuBBUkBBUs 11-07-2014 09:23 AM

finally somewhat intruder style to the UK can't wait

Locke. 11-07-2014 09:24 AM

What happens if two housemates get the equal highest noms

Macie Lightfoot 11-07-2014 09:25 AM

so we'll be halfway through the series and have 13 housemates... makes sense.

Kazanne 11-07-2014 09:28 AM

Yes Marlon will be going Monday.

Me. I Am Salman 11-07-2014 09:30 AM

3 new housemates??! Am I dreaming omg

mrflibble 11-07-2014 09:31 AM

Ergh this is going to be horrible. That eviction thing is just stupid.

Jack_ 11-07-2014 09:33 AM

Very surprised that they have the guts to do an instant eviction with no public vote, I'm not so sure it'll be Marlon going though?

Happy that we're getting new housemates too! Hopefully it's not a flop tbh

jackc1806 11-07-2014 09:33 AM

Amazing :hehe:

Only chance he has of staying is if Ashleigh stays tonight. Or maybe if Helen's pass is exempt for the week.. that'd be interesting.

kefln 11-07-2014 09:34 AM

So essentially the HM's that get "saved" tonight, are gone on Monday?

Who constantly gets the most votes? Christopher, Chris, Ashleigh and Marlon.

Why bother to vote for tonight?

Firewire 11-07-2014 09:39 AM

I take it that means Jale is safe?

I think they'll be over it by Monday anyway but if they're told they're effectively voting someone out beforehand I can't see most of them who'd have nominated him still doing so knowing that

Christopher or him going would be good

If Armageddon involves Helen's pass being revoked at any point it's automatically dreadful

billy123 11-07-2014 09:40 AM

Whats this change the house forever line? no it wont it will change it for the last few weeks that is left.

sampvt 11-07-2014 09:40 AM

This 3 new HM,s will cause havoc with the betting. The problem is that if one nice normal person goes in, they will win it as they wont have any competition from the numpties in there.

Jamesy 11-07-2014 09:41 AM

This is great! So glad the producers are doing something that really could "change the house forever", this is something we've been dreaming of for ages! Can't wait to see the three new housemates.

With there being a lot of housemates back in the house though, I hope they do some mass evicting as the week goes on with the current bunch. Maybe we could see the return of triple or quadruple evictions in a week or two?

Agree. Chris, Christopher and Ashleigh could have just as a high chance of going. A lot of them may use Marlon as a cop-out nomination though.

michael21 11-07-2014 09:48 AM

so there be at least 6 housemate in the final then

Hm well I assume to make it fair they'll void her killer nom for that round but then I guess that will mean they'll have to void Helen's pass too

Oh God no  this is going to happen isn't it

Natalie. 11-07-2014 09:51 AM

Don't like the eviction thing on Monday. Not too sure that it'd be Marlon going. I think Chris or Christopher.

Rob! 11-07-2014 09:56 AM

If all the campaigns to keep Ashliegh in work and she then gets immediately evicted on Monday anyway :joker:

Babayaro. 11-07-2014 09:58 AM

The instant eviction could backfire massively, as the producers probably think that the public will be happy if Marlon goes, whereas Chris could easily go and that would anger many (I think). Hope it's Steven though

I am massively concerned about the eviction Monday - the most nominated housemate if it isn't Marlon is only going to be someone I like :(

Niamh. 11-07-2014 10:05 AM

Ugh no, I hate it, It's too late for new HMs and I don't like the HMs deciding who should go out, that isn't fair, what if the person they choose is the publics favourite? I hate this idea

Robodog 11-07-2014 10:05 AM

BB

I don't care how many twists whatever you do but

PLEASE

just do whatever it takes to evict Steven

Niamh. 11-07-2014 10:06 AM

I actually think I will stop watching if they let the HMs choose who gets evicted. Seriously

Tom4784 11-07-2014 10:10 AM

The eviction thing is dumb but the new housemates sound fun.

Niamh. 11-07-2014 10:14 AM

Whatever happened to Who goes YOU decide? Also, what about all those people who spent their money voting to save Christopher and then s**thead Helen decides she wantst to kick him out? No, no I hate this idea so much, I'm actually getting angry :fist:

I'm hoping Ashleigh does go tonight now so that Helen doesn't get the satisfaction of personally kicking her out on Monday, this is so wrong

Locke. 11-07-2014 10:14 AM

Good old Helen

jessicadanielle 11-07-2014 10:15 AM

Tbh I think if they do revoke Helen's pass just for this set of nominations she probably wouldn't have the highest number of votes? Especially with face-to-face noms.. not sure many of them would have the balls to vote her. Plus, Mark, Kim, Ash, Stephen, Winston, Jale, and maybe even Marlon wouldn't vote her anyway. Hope they don't just use Chris as a scapegoat cause they're not scared to nom him to his face cause he's such a sweetie!

I've got my fingers crossed that they'll all still hate Marlon by Monday though.. or it will definitely be a "public's favourite" who gets instant eviction!

Also, I hope they let the hms think it's just normal noms and then have a surprise eviction, rather than letting them know that whoever has the highest number will be instantly evicted, or I think that could skew the votes a bit.

Well, something's got to be done....this is the most UNCOMPELLING big brother that I have struggled through!..[and i've seen the lot]. ...Not saying that it will work...but something's got to be tried, or i'm afraid that it could be curtains for the show! ....There has just been no redeeming feature, or outstanding house mate whatsoever this time. ...If it fails, then I can see us only having the celebrity edition to watch,..and that just doesn't seem right to me!

Jack_ 11-07-2014 10:19 AM

There's nothing fairer than letting the housemates decide who gets evicted, they're the ones living with one another after all. If anything it's the public that are the ones intruding on what should be a social experiment left to play out naturally without interference

It's vote to evict :p so nobody paid to save him

One of the many other reasons vote to save is better is because it means they can bring people back, you can't do that when people have spent money voting to evict them

minty3 11-07-2014 10:22 AM

Gutted this means marlon is a goner on monday then

Well they voted to Evict people in order to save their favourites. I know you're a fan of the US format but I think more people this side of the world like the "You Decide" way things are. That has always been the tag line and basic rule of the show, to take that away from viewers who spent money "playing the game" is out of order imo The winner should be the publics choice and potentially kicking out the publics favourite HM is very wrong imo

with the ammount of noms chris got the other week i could see him going on a twist like this if they back out of nominating marlon or christopher gets one less or something.

3 housemates seems a lot to me and a bit late in the show but new blood is welcome god we need it

Rob! 11-07-2014 10:49 AM

I don't think it's too late for newbies - Sam pepper came in ridiculously late.
