Whether or not you're homophobic, there is a lot of latent homophobia in automatically disliking flamboyant/extravant/dare I say "gay" acting gay guys, and then we get an abhorrent gay guy in BBCan2 who literally pretended to be straight (because apparently being gay is an inherent handicap despite the fact that a gay guy lost on accident only a year ago) and you hero worship him to no end because you can ~relate~ to him and it was nice to *finally* see a gay guy who stood what you believed in (like... he literally acted straight), as if how flamboyant/not flamboyant someone is defines who they are.
