The bloody teddybear or dog

For Gods sake I have never in all my life seen an 18 year old carry around a dog or teddybear and hug it like a toy. Let her bring it into the house but put it on her pillow or something. It looks so STUPID. In all of tonights highlights show she had the damed thing with her !!!!!!!

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 15-07-2014 10:00 PM

she's like a horror movie character-a vicious biitch that sucks on lollipops and holds a teddy bear.

mooo 15-07-2014 10:01 PM

Its cute

:joker: Good analogy

jessicadanielle 15-07-2014 10:01 PM

I really don't get why people care that she holds a teddy bear?! Doesn't affect anyone else

Mrjrb2014 15-07-2014 10:02 PM

the little sister off Bioshock in human form :joker:

Agree that girl from Jersey in the BB won by Luke did the same.I sort of admire both of them for doing so.They probably knew they might get some stick or funny looks but thought we get comfort from it so sod you.

GypsyGoth 15-07-2014 10:11 PM

It brings her comfort. And she's at a disadvantage as she has a boyfriend who she wants to stay loyal to. So she doesn't really have any other snuggling options.

So I don't blame her at all. I still sleep with a cuddly toy.

Yoshi888 15-07-2014 10:16 PM

It could be her sex toy!

rionablue 15-07-2014 10:16 PM

It just looks stupid she shouldn't have to have something to bring her comfort she has bloody Danielle if she feels alone. Its like kids having pacifiers or soothers at 6 years of age!!!!!

Creggle 16-07-2014 09:22 AM

It's a better alternate than snuggling some mummies boy and proving to the public that you have no class. :smug:

Plus it's cute, and who are we to judge her for a cuddly toy? People have their preferences, she's lovely.

Cherie 16-07-2014 09:28 AM

I have no problem with it, far worse to be "opening it" for Steven.

I think thats the point tbh, by carrying her cuddly toy around she wants to portray a sweet and innocent child like persona.

HBB1508 16-07-2014 09:35 AM

It doesn't bother me really - I kind of want one myself now :)

Clearly a way of her letting loved ones on the outside know she's thinking about them at that moment

I would happily do a task where i get immunity for a week for throwing it over the wall.
Infact i would just throw it over the wall and tell her to get a grip anyway arguing with her about her bitching and eyerolling is pointless just throw the baby toy over the wall instead.

Big Brother top 3 :cheer2:

rusticgal 16-07-2014 09:55 AM

It's probably been given to her by her boyfriend and possibly smells of his aftershave...she is 18 and in love...would you not do the same thing.
It's harmless and endearing...what's the problem?

No I wouldn't. Its ok as I said if she wants it on her pillow like a few other housemates have done in the past but carrying it around is really cringey. As another poster said she is probably trying to act like the innocent little 18 year old and she is definitely not that. I have been pretty annoyed at looking at her carrying it up to last night but the highlights show last night she was carrying it in every single scene. I am all for romance but a teddybear at 18 sorry it is totally wrong

Josy 16-07-2014 10:39 AM

Someone should steal it

Men buy teddybears for their girlfriends all the time.

I think that would be great fun.I like Ashleigh but I think she would go right up the pole failing to see the funny side and if they hid it and tried to put the blame on an innocent HM then I think it would well kick off.

MTVN 16-07-2014 10:55 AM

Somebody should go Godfather style, cut off the damn bear's head in the middle of the night and leave it under her duvet for her to wake up with in the morning

Alright that might be a bit far

Tbf I have a few friends that like Teddy Bears/Dogs, it's not that abnormal.

I think Ashleigh also has it in the house because it might remind her of back home and her friends and family etc.

Don't talk sense. People don't like that.

Crimson Dynamo 16-07-2014 01:45 PM

She is the youngest in there so I get it, I just wish it was a better quality more original thing. It looks like one of them vile things from a card shop that some dopey boyfriend bought her thinking he was being romantic.

Probably was a present from her b/f actually so maybe it's a way of feeling closer to him when she's missing him

Lol, I can't get over how it bothers people so much, she can hold it for as long as she likes without getting people attacking her for it.

But it seems you're right that some people have lost their common sense lol.

Creggle 16-07-2014 01:58 PM

There is clearly some hostility towards the poor lass from people who don't like her, she's definately a marmite housemate :( although I have no idea how anybody could dislike her.

Achilles 16-07-2014 02:02 PM

Ashleigh is very beautiful, funny and sexy. Those 3 are more than enough but carrying the teddybear around adds cute to the list, making her even more likeable.
