Natural teeth whitening
 

Does anyone have any tips on natural whitening for teeth?

I drink my tea black and so am constantly battling against staining, have heard of banana pith and bicarb of soda mixed with lemon juice, anyone have another?

omfg i did that once, but i put too much oil in and i swallowed a bit and vomited everywhere

Yep deffo going to have a go at this pulling business, and thanks boys for your input 'preciated.

baking soda, lemon juice, mouthwash are the only techniques I know.

I use Colgate max white optic. It's amazing!

Hmm wonder if that's more effective than bicarb? I tried that today and ffs it was rank :(

Is there peroxide in that ness, I bet it's expensive?

No peroxide. It's more extensive than the other brands, but it's really good.

Kizzy some people rub strawberries on their teeth, not sure if that's an old wives tale or not though.

My mum said that but she thinks it's as it stains your gums red making your teeth appear whiter.

Charcoal, tastes disgusting but it was done by everyone years ago and made your teeth gleam (according to my grandparents)

Yeah this worked for me, my teeth are much whiter than they were before I started!

I put Domestos on mine once and got told off by the dentist,lol

I use Bicarb too and it works. Keeps them a nice colour.

And I started flossing a lot more than I used to do which have made my gums healthier than ever. :laugh:

True story Marsh,I used cotton buds,tasted awful when I rinsed,but teeth were ok.

Whiteglo toothpaste which is just as much as normal toothpaste worked brilliantly for me

Only thing is that I have sensitive teeth and only sensodyne works for me so I had to stop using it

I might but both and mix them into a container... Hmmm

It did work,but I couldn't keep doing it as the enamel would have been stripped away,lol,it was when I was a teenager and wanted that ultra white smile,lol,it didn't get them really white,but it got rid of any stains and they brushed up nicely,but DON'T do it,it was a very silly thing to do:joker:

There is a youtuber called freeleethebananagirl who is a raw till 4 vegan and she uses banana skins to whiten her teeth. She just washes the skin after using a banana and rubs her teeth with it.
