Do people still use msn?.
 

It just popped into my head there. I use to use it all the time to chat to friends all the time.

Is it still a thing people use.. OR did it die a slow painful death like bebo? :laugh:

it got closed, but there's still a way to use it if you tinker around with some uninstalling thing. I have it, anyway.

It's part of Skype now. If you had an MSN / Live account you can login to Skype with it, I think.

MSN was replaced with Skype, if you have an MSN account you can now log into Skype with it and your contacts should be there.

I held off as long as I could with it then one day I tried to log in and it told me I had to get Skype.

Still my msn/windows live messenger name though.

I used to love msn. Everyone would log on after school haha.

MSN was the best, I still used it up til 2012 <3

I use a program called Trillian to connect to Skype. The official Skype client uses too much memory.

Although the company behind Trillian said the other day they might have to remove Skype from it.

I would use Skype but the lack of "plus" services put me off... the inability to use custom screen names, send sounds, the silly wink things (not that important but amusing from time to time) and custom emoticons :(

It's been merged with Skype now, I think.

I loved MSN. It worked so much better than Skype tbh. Although sadly everyone moved over to that and Facebook messages.
