Producer manipulating

Do you like it and should it stop? Poll incoming,

coffee 22-07-2014 09:58 PM

STOP

Tarryn 22-07-2014 09:59 PM

They are going too far now. Plus the twists are so stupid you can see them coming.
It's so obvious who BB wants out & who they want to stay.
What's the point of voting/watching ?

Jordan. 22-07-2014 09:59 PM

It's ruined the concept of the show so no

This, it's the main reason i've stopped watching this season

erinp5 22-07-2014 10:02 PM

It's a feckin disgrace.

mrflibble 22-07-2014 10:02 PM

No. Treat the audience like ignorant children and you end up with an ignorant and childish show. I do like BB in general, but it's really no wonder it gets such a bad rep. A couple of twists here and there is ok, but it's just ridiculous now. I'd love to see how the show would turn out without their interference instead of this joke of a show.

hijaxers 22-07-2014 10:02 PM

The producers should be up for eviction - there's no doubt they'd go !!!

waterhog 22-07-2014 10:03 PM

they have always done this but i must say there seems to be less manipulation in this series.

waylander1973 22-07-2014 10:03 PM

I voted for On occasion - it shouldn't be overdone.

This year it's too much.

Sometimes they need to step in if gang are just block voting people up, while they are safe.

Jarrod 22-07-2014 10:07 PM

I'm completely done with this series. They clearly favour certain Housemates and are doing anything to keep any shred of a chance at a pathetic showmance between Ash and Helen.

reece(: 22-07-2014 10:14 PM

This series has been ruined by the producers alone.

alex_front2 22-07-2014 10:15 PM

I bet if Stephen is evicted, Emma will announce a surprise 2nd eviction to ensure Ashleigh goes/ Mark's path to victory is made that more easier

Vicky. 22-07-2014 10:16 PM

This year I am neutral, but only because I dont particularly like/dislike anyone more than anyone else. If I had proper faves and they kept getting screwed over I would be well pissed

zakman440 22-07-2014 10:17 PM

Sums it up really - even the shows presenters can't keep up with what the producers are doing.

Northern Monkey 22-07-2014 10:18 PM

It's a total disgrace.Voters getting ripped off. It's more like some kind of scripted TOWIE BS now.

billy123 22-07-2014 10:20 PM

Its a bit pointless making this poll now.

Josy 22-07-2014 10:22 PM

Put it this way, everyone likes it, it's really amazing apparently when it's befitting one of their favoured housemates but when it goes against them then it's a completely different story.

zakman440 22-07-2014 10:57 PM

I went and started a petition on this (might be taking it a bit too far), but if you want to sign it's here:

It works both ways, let's be honest your opinion would have been completely different had Ash been ****ed over

joeysteele 22-07-2014 10:59 PM

I don't really like it but accept that at times it will be done, however it has gone into overdrive this series and resulted in total overkill as to manipulation.

true, those types of comments are stupid. Obviously I like it when it benefits my fave but I'd still rather have none at all.

Of course it would, isn't that obvious? in fact that is basically what my post said...

Just the same as people being over the moon that Ashleigh was made power housemate due to a poll that not everyone could vote on...

Your post seemed to go on about other people but fair enough

I was happy and I couldn't vote, only people who can really be blamed are 5 for making the app so ****ing exclusive

I only used that as an example, there are other scenarios like Marlon being evicted through nominations, people that hate Marlon were happy with that even though it was complete manipulation by the producers.

Yeah of course, we're a hypocritical bunch aren't we

Vicky. 22-07-2014 11:06 PM

How you feel about twists largely depends on who you support and who it affects. Hence me not being arsed this year about them full stop

Twists last year I loved as they seemed to mostly benefit Dexter and Gina.

Yes, its hypocritical...but its how most people are, whether they will admit it or not.

Because of this really, twists will never please everyone so they should be left alone...except maybe one a series (such as bedsit in bb5...)

andybigbro 22-07-2014 11:06 PM

No I would prefer it stopped.

I liked when there was no manipulation and no outside contact etc.

Yep, perfect post.

Sophiee 22-07-2014 11:54 PM

producer manipulation should never ever happen, it ruins the whole show and it occurs far too much lately, in this series in particular.

AbbieJ 23-07-2014 12:10 AM

Hey I'm new to the forum. I think it's got to the point that when the next Big Brother arrives, we will already know what's going to happen - quite repetitive with tasks, etc.

Thank you, Josy. Trying to get my head around it

clao 23-07-2014 12:39 AM

i swear the show's producers suffer from adhd, they can't last more than a few days before they get bored and start screwing around with nominations one way or another

Cheddarcakes 23-07-2014 01:00 AM

They make it up as they go along on C5 and it's pissing people off. If there is a twist the public should be told before hand to make a judgement

This was done to save the new showmance

zakman440 01-06-2015 10:21 PM

Just wanted to bump this given the past week (and incase anyone hadn't voted )

MB. 01-06-2015 10:22 PM

Glad to see that they've listened
