Task: The losers vid(spoiler)
Day 49: Task - The Losers
This week’s Big Brother 2014 shopping has is fixed, as the housemates’ competitiveness is put to a test. Nasty Big Brother is putting on another one of its social experiments as it attempts to see just how losing will effect housemates. This morning the housemates awoke to find the house had been split into two halves: Red and Blue. Later, the Housemates were divided into the Reds and the Blues team. The Red team are made up of Ash, Ashleigh, Helen, Mark and Winston. The Blue team have Chris, Christopher, Pav, Steven and Zoe. Over the next two days, the teams will take part in a series of wacky and bizarre challenges. But the Red team have been secretly told by Big Brother than the tasks are fixed and that, however hard the Blue team may try, the Red team will also win. In order to pass the secret shopping task, the Red team must convince their Blue rivals to give up and that they can’t possibly win. If they succeed it’ll be a luxury budget for the whole house but failure means another week on basic rations of rice and chickpeas. yet another nasty twist to a task. I think this BB should have been called 'Disappointment and deceipt'
|
12.15pm: While the Red team take on the first part of the task, the Blues are discussing... Mark. He's "very unique" apparently
12.36pm: "It's so much easier wearing helmets with short hair." Steven's found an unexpected benefit to shaving his head 12.49pm: Time for the Blue team to have a go at the task in the garden. We'll have video later... 12.59pm: The Blues are struggling in the garden. The Reds are watching and laughing from the living room 1.17pm: The teams are comparing notes now. Funnily enough, the Blues found the task a lot harder than the Reds |
Helen and Ash on the power side again - it's getting boring now............

I don't understand the point of this task. Put the people who will be fine with losing into the blue team and the people who would absolutely go off if they lost into the winning team? What's that going to prove? Meh.
|
1:31pm The victorious red team are being treated to a spray tanning session. Obviously Mark is most excited.
The Red team are Ashleigh, Helen, Winston, Ash, and Mark |
Terrible. Who comes up with this bunk?

At least Ashleigh is on red team so we don't have to put up with the Producer bullying claims.

FFS so is Ashleigh Mark and Winston and it's not even really the winning team it's just part of the task. |
Why does this feel like its scripted, happening too often this series
|
At the very least they should have let the HM draw straws to decide who was red or blue.
|
Task over treats had ,back to fighting .
2.18pm: War has broken out in the House over sausages. 10 sausages were cooked. There are 10 housemates. The maths is complicated |

2.59pm: The Blue team has appointed Zoe their unofficial leader. The Reds claim they're all equal
|
And again Christopher is on the worse side again............. Has he got anything good this series
And I agree about Helen and Ash they always seem to get everything or in Ashs case if he loses gets through with a pass |
3.19pm: It's almost time for the next part of the task. The Blues are in the Diary Room. The Reds are planning their strategy
3.37pm: Both teams are boasting about how likely it is they'll win the next part of the task. Only one team is right |

TASK: Losers (spoilers)
For this week’s shopping task, Big Brother is testing whether one team of Housemates can be turned into ‘Losers’. Will consistently losing a series of secretly rigged games leave them so annoyed and angry that they lose even when they actually have a fair chance of winning?
Big Brother will divide Housemates into the Red Team and the Blue Team. The two teams will compete against each other in a series of head to head challenges, with the winners receiving a luxury shopping budget. However, what the Blue team don’t know is that the real shopping task is called ‘Losers’, and Big Brother has rigged all but one of the rounds so that the Red Team win every time. The real task is for the Red Team to irritate and annoy the Blue Team, so as they stack up their victories, the Blue Team lose all faith in their ability to win. If the Red Team win the final, fair challenge then the whole house will be rewarded with a luxury shopping budget. Red Team (The Winners): Ash, Ashleigh, Helen, Mark, Winston Blue Team (The Losers): Chris, Christopher, Pav, Steven, Zoe THE FAKE TASK To the Housemates Big Brother will refer to this task as “Red v Blue”. BB will start the task by splitting the Housemates into two teams – reds and blues. They will wear red and blue outfits throughout the two days. The teams will be told that all tasks throughout the two days will be identical and competitive, with the overall winning team earning a luxury shopping budget for the next week. THE TEAMS The teams have been chosen so that most of the confident, cocky Housemates are in the winning Red Team, while the quieter Housemates are in the losing Blue team. The winners will will be told they will automatically win each task and their job is to undermine and anger the other team throughout the two days. There will be one final fair head to head task. The real task is for the WINNERS to undermine the LOSERS’ confidence to the extent that they lose. If the LOSERS lose then the luxury shopping budget will be won by the entire house. DAY ONE 1) Pipe Dream (Logical) In the garden there are pipes spewing water. On the other side there are exit pipes leading to a barrel. Throughout the garden there are loose pipe sections. The teams must attempt to connect all the pipes together so the water flows to the exit pipe and fills up the barrel. However this is an impossible task for the Losers as the parts do not actually fit. Every few seconds Big Brother will send a burst of water through the pipes breaking the pipe system and soaking the Losers trying to complete it. The winners will play this first, they won’t play the game. Big Brother will have completed the pipes for them (using a correct set of spare parts). REWARD: SPRAY TAN IN LARGE TASK ROOM 2) Crack the Code (Puzzle) Each team are given 5 numbered t-shirts, 5 animal heads and 5 different coloured frilly skirts. There is a board behind the teams that shows a word. (e.g. Chandelier, toothpick) This word is a clue to the order that each t shirt, skirt and head should be in. The team’s task is to line up in the ‘correct’ order in the fewest moves. After each team has got in an order and hit a button Big Brother will reveal how many things re in the right place (e.g. “Blue Team you have 10 items in the right position, Re Team you have 14 items in the right position.” Each team has a board with five words on. The first team to crack five codes first win. The task is nonsense but the winners will still win. (The codes have 768 possibilities) REWARD: POOL TREATS 3) Housemate or House-hate This Diary Room game is a head to head quiz on the buzzer with housemates as the answer. e.g. Which Housemate said Steven and Kimberly “might be a fauxmance?” The winner will be fed certain answers through a secret earpiece, ensuring their victory. REWARD: PARTY |

Day 49: Task - The blues face the flood http://bigbrother.channel5.com/sites...?itok=8JE9Z91F The blue team have to assemble plumbing while leaks soak them to the skin. This task should be easy - It mean, the red team managed it, right? |
crack the code
http://bigbrother.channel5.com/sites...?itok=0TnIMvAG Day 49: Task - Crack the Code Tutus, animal masks, and numbered t-shirts? What kind of a game could Big Brother possibly make out of those bizarre props? Find it hard to imagine? So will our housemates. The Crack the Code mini-task is all about figuring out how colours, numbers, and animals represent different words. In order to win, each team will need to work out the code, put on the props, and stand in the right order. The Blue team will find this harder than the Red team, though, because there is no code. The game is unsolveable, and it's all part of Big Brother's evil plan to find out how much a string of failures will effect the Blue team's morale. Will they perservere in an impossible task? Or will they just give up? Either way, the Reds are going to romp to victory once again... 4.30pm: Nice hat, Zoe. #BBUKLive pic.twitter.com/cYXYVIjoON https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BtPS78pCEAEhRUs.jpg:small 4.45pm: Want to see Steven in a cow hat? In a head-to-head challenge to guess the correct housemate quote, Big Brother reveals some rather shocking information about who's said what in the House.

Helen Wood’s bitching was exposed in the Big Brother 2014 house last night in a new task. As part of this week’s shopping task, the housemates have been divided into the Reds and the Blues team. The Red team are made up of Ash, Ashleigh, Helen, Mark and Winston. The Blue team have Chris, Christopher, Pav, Steven and Zoe. They have been competing in a series of tasks and one of them was called Housemate or House-hate This Diary Room game was a head to head quiz on the buzzer with housemates as the answer. e.g. Which Housemate said Steven and Kimberly “might be a fauxmance?” Some of Helen’s quotes included saying: “I was very wary of Zoe, she did cast her opinion n Steve and Kim’s relationship very quickly.” And she was also exposed as saying of Steven: “He thinks he’s dead unpopular, he’s done it to make people laugh but in a jokey way, he’s ding for the public to like him so much.” Helen claimed: “Who have I said that about, I haven’t even said this? I have never said this. I swear to God I have never said that.” Steven told her: “I’m really shocked by that.” Despite there being some 42 cameras in the house, the walls and ceilings being coated in microphones and of course each housemate also having their own personal mic, Helen insisted BB had got it wrong. “They can’t do that to me! I haven’t said, I haven’t said it!” she protested. “I wouldn’t ******ing do it.” Steven told her: “I dont want you to be upset.” Helen continued: “I haven’t said those ******ing things. “******ing tramp, I would never ever say that. I’m ******ing fuming, I’ve never said those ******ing words.” Read more: http://tellymix.co.uk/reality-tv/big...#ixzz38KqqT2fZ Follow us: @tellymix on Twitter | tellymix on Facebook |

Poor Christopher isn't feeling too good about his performance in the task earlier. The rest of his team sit down for a chat and analyse the inevitable post-task fall out. |
