Has been treated really badly!
The main thing that has stood out to me in the past few days is how Pav has been treated really badly - he came in with good intentions, and has had such evil laid out against him!
Firstly, the 3 ex-housemates completely fabricating the 'fact' that he is a backstabber (he's not at all), saying that he will tell other housemates what the others say about them and so on (what?). They said how he will cut people down to achieve his own goals - this is the total opposite of what he's actually doing! People on BOTS and on the forum here say that he doesn't do anything and doesn't try and make conversation and fun, that's the total opposite of the truth! And one of the ex-housemates said that he loves Ashleigh - what a load of s---! And if that wasn't enough, after all this evil was laid out against him, the housemates chose to ignore him and speak bad of him behind his back, not even mustering up enough good soul to just speak to him about the ex-housemates comments (which were totally untrue and evil). So, he was left in a state of confusion, wondering why every single housemate was being cold to him, all the while he has the best intentions and a good soul! Not one single f---ing housemate in the entire house had a good soul to speak to him! And after all this alienation and evil laid out against him, you see how he's fighting back tears in the diary room, left to rot by the housemates (every single one of whom do not have a strong soul between them!). And even then, when he went to speak to Steven, he just had verbal evil thrown straight into his face (even though he came to Steven with the best, good-souled intentions!). What the f--- is wrong with the world?! |
I agree that Pav's had it bad from the Housemates (and certain sections of the public I would argue) but can people only be well received in this series unless they're being attacked? Pav is a nice guy but his been getting abuse from the public until tonight.
|
Pav should not have revealed he has a psychology degree. Firstly that makes the housemates suspicious and secondly it suggests a level of intellect noticeably above average for BB.
Sadly it's better to play dumb and friendly like the "Winstmeister" currently , and others in the past. Not a good state of affairs but there it is. |
Yep he should've played down the master manipulator claims a tad...
|
People say Pav hasn't "lived up" to his VT.
I say he shouldn't even try to do that... In fact he needs to "live it down"! I still dislike him but I dislike him less than his VT persona. |
He thought he knew how to play the game , no one likes a smart arse and that's how he came across initially.
|
I don't know what this guy's done.
|
When he first went in he thought he was powerful because he had the advantage of knowing what had been shown to the public and their reaction. It reminded me of when Dexter returned from the safe house and enjoyed a short moment of glory RE what he told and to whom.IMO he played this all wrong.
Currently I do feel a little sorry for him as the sharks circle. I don't see the justification for slating him as a game player because in different ways they all are. I hope he feels able to fight back but fear it will be to little to late. |
He blew it when in his vt when he was SO arrogant and he said he was already the winner, the public don't like that much cockiness ,then it was shown to the house ,he made his own bed ...sorry
|
He shot himself in the foot with arrogance. He talked a big story in his VT and he breezed into the house with an air of contentment. He has been BB'd and he cant find a way out of it so he is chasing the sympathy card now. He is pretty boring and give nothing to the dynamics of the house so he wont be missed, but this week is Stevens week so he will be safe and I am glad as he will prove to be the whipping boy and save Ash the following week.
|
I also thought this was funny, saying Pav has a gameplan and is a massive Gameplayer .
Of course he is ... It's a gameshow and he wants to win. He won't of course , has come in far too late and if I'm honest he doesn't look or sound like a potential BB winner. He has all the charisma of a wall flower and will not threaten any of the bigger characters in there. . |

I feel sorry for him and think BB is rigged this year. Bbots should be impartial but its not. |

I feel a bit sorry for him as he's not done anything wrong in the house but he shot himself in the foot with his VT - mind you most of them do.

I didn't like Pav and Zoe for being cowards and not getting rid of Steven last Friday.
They both knew he was hated by the public before they went in AND they heard the chanting. Then I like them for changing their mind last minute and not evicting Ashleigh  Since he has been in the house Pav has done nothing bad at all and it's just the paranoia of the originals, they feel protective for each other over the 2 newbies. :suspect: I think they will both settle in eventually and be stronger for it, especially Pav. Will be a travesty if Pav is evicted and not Steven. |

I do feel sorry for him, imo they sent the newbies into the house too late, they've already formed strong bonds and sadly he's the outsider and they won't let him into the groups.
He was cocky on his vt, but what they all forget is that they're all usually cocky and full of themselves on vt that's how they get into the house! According to some of the other hm's vt's they've also been a let down on what we saw. |
I feel sorry for Pav. Yes he came across as OTT on his VT but then didn't they all in one form or another? I think he thought he was going to make friends almost straight away with some of the guys, but they had already had their own friendships and the fact that he went in with two girls (strong personalities) kind of pushed him to one side. People say that he is not intergrating but I don't think the HMs are allowing him to intergrate. Plus the fact the three ex-HMs who villified him and told lies didn't help. The other sad thing is that Pav knows that Mark said something, not very nice, about him to Helen and Steven but Mark (snake in the grass) won't tell Pav what was said. It is no wonder he is confused and feeling a little isolated. I hope he stays tonight and that we might see more of him socialising with the others.

A few housemates have said he has been a bit full on with Ashleigh but we never saw it.
There must be something more going on for them to be so off with him we just don't get to see it as the producers have not shown it its simple as that. |
Totally agree with the OP. Pav's done nothing wrong from what i've seen. With the ex-Housemates, what the hell? Bianca obviously had some vendetta 'jealousy' because she went out, and he stayed - what an idiot. The other two, i doubt even watched a minute of BB..just based their comments on the VT.
What's the big deal on his VT, all the housemates VTs are full of BS..!! ..they're prompted by production to 'create' interest/be controverial etc.. ie. Pav is the Winner, as Chris is gonna be pissing in the kitchen sink, callin everyone bastards, Jale 'hates' people. Bianca will ****** anything that moves. goes on and on.. |

Why do producers need to tell the housemates what their other housemates are "realy like". I wanted to see how Zoe and Helen would get on and BB snuffed that out and now Zoe has been potrayed as some massive superstar in the eyes of the housemates who only wants one thing and doesn't care about any of them. Its total bs I really wanted to see another girly side to Helen. BB brought in these new housemates then threw them to the lions and wasted the housemates and our time coz now all the footage is of paranoia and speculation instead of watching reality. They have Zoe so wrong, Zoe has got a contract in America and is leaving the country after BB. I honesty think she was approached by producers and thought ***** it why not its a great experience*. She isn't doing this for her career, BB doesn't give anyone a boost career wise in theatre or tv these days and if anything it makes them lose work as they aren't taken as seriously after the show. She hasn't been on tv since 2002 and they are calling her a reality tv veteran, the only person to correct them was Mark but then he got sucked into it aswell. Gone are the days where we could watch real friendships and human interaction. BB has become the main housemate and the actual housemates extras. |
I do agree with other posters saying about not evicting Steven - he blew it then for me :nono::nono:
|
He isnt my favourite housemate, but yes I did feel sorry for him last night. His vt was no worse than the others. Personally I think he should forget about joining the cool gang and concentrate on the other housemates. He will probably go next week, but personally Id rather see others go first, Steven tonight, Ash/Winston/mark next week.

This program needs revamping, the notion that we the public can willy nilly evict someone is crazy, all you are left with are the introverts, the dross. What the fcuk has Chris, Christopher, even Mark done-nada-fcuk all. Just 'cos some of the more feint hearted viewers can't stomach extroverted individuals, doesn't mean they are right and a great progam it does not make if you keep voting out the strong individuals.
Hence the program makers decision to keep Helen in. I just wish some alternative production team would have the balls to make a program where the strong, the Machievellan , the extrovert are allo2ed to flourish, instead of this insipid, year after year, the British public going for the down trodden, victim. |
As for Pav, snake in the grass. Another one that has suddendly realised that there are bigger and better personalities in this world. Hats off, he hasn't quite waived the victim card yet, not quite.
Hope he goes and Steve is saved. |

A 'strong' housemate could be evil, as could a 'weak' housemate. Furthermore, there are no strong housemates - Helen and Ash are incredibly insecure and simply talk louder than some of the other housemates. Is that what you call strong? They're really not. Steven also, is incredibly insecure. There is no point in listing the endless examples that these so called 'strong' housemates have, that show their massive insecurities. Winston is perhaps one of the stronger housemates but still passively bows down to past housemates such as Pauline and Biannca. Biannca reduced Helen to submissive silence in a split second, without any attack whatsoever (Helen knew she couldn't), and Ash seems to cry (whether externally or internally) at the smallest of things. So why are they strong? I don't care for whoever is strong or weak, rather how good their souls are. And I believe Pav and Zoe probably have some of the best souls in the house, maybe. Christopher maybe the best, I'm not sure yet. Chris used to be my favourite but he dropped in my opinion because of his constant sneaky behaviour and speaking badly of people when they aren't around, only to be friendly to their faces! Biannca and Pauline were probably the strongest housemates, but Pauline was evil in some ways (which was her demise) - and Biannca wasn't in long enough to be able to see. I don't know what to think of Winston. |
I don't think he has been treated that badly, after all BB themselves put him up for eviction on his first day in the house with the other 2 that went in with him.
For me, he is just an irrelevance in the house, i don't think she should have gone in, I don't really want him to stay in and the same goes for Zoe too to be honest, with me anyway. |

Pavandeep Paul has admitted he feels both a “bit scared” and “really uncomfortable” in the Big Brother 2014 house.
In tonight’s latest highlight show, Pav talks to Big Brother about the upcoming eviction and says he feels “anxious, nervous…I am a bit scared actually…I’m in fear of going, or I’m in fear of staying” He goes on to explain that he felt “really uncomfortable, really upset” yesterday, following the task where Winston revealed the Housemates feelings towards him After the eviction, where Pav stays, he retreats to the Diary Room as the other housemates lash out. Even usually timid Chris speaks up, branding Pav a “prick” for staying. Pav tells Big Brother that he’s happy he didn’t go but feels “pressure to perform this week to prove to the Housemates why I should be here…I feel good about this week” Later, in the garden, Pav tells Ash that it “feels a bit weird” knowing that everyone in the room wanted Steven to stay. Ash reassures him that it doesn’t mean they wanted Pav to go but they have seven weeks of knowing their “best mate” Steven Elsewhere in this evening’s show, Mark confides in Zoe that he felt “doubtful” about her at the start of the week. Zoe insisted that she’s “been nothing but complimentary and genuine and honest…Not one person in my whole life who’s ever met me has said, ‘she’s not genuine, she’s not honest, she’s not a nice person…’” In the Diary Room, Mark later tells Big Brother that he will “go off the public reaction” with Zoe and that he thinks she is “really genuine…she’s really similar to me in loads of ways…I’m really drawn to her as a person…I think we’re going to be really good friends” |
