Ashleigh: A Triumph!

She's the top female HM :cheer2: who got there all on her own without having the protection of a free pass. That in itself is a triumph, and to me, she has already won, even if she doesn't get the sometimes dubious winners crown, which usually now goes to the inoffensive, victimized, stereotypical and lets face it, the overdone, well worn 'journey' Housemate

She's one of a kind and the amount of interest she inspires in the many threads and posts about her is testament to how interesting, fascinating and divisive she is. And her age does come into it because the longer you have been on this planet, the more experience and knowledge you should gain. Whether you love her or hate her, you have to admit she is the only HM in the running to be possibly beaten by a pity party vote!

Brother Leon 02-08-2014 02:47 AM

It's funny because she gained a large number of her fanbase due to being "Victimized" and being on a "Journey as an 18 year old"

Carry on though...

I don't care much for any of that. She was my winner after I saw this upload.

My reaction to BB after seeing the upload was like Mark says "YOU'RE A LIAR"

If we had live feed we would have been able to see much more of this NORMAL chat between friends.

Marsh. 02-08-2014 03:00 AM

Yet without the free pass, Helen would've gone and so would Ashleigh as the boring pod-dweller would've been eviction fodder weeks ago. You may not like it but Ashleigh only became relevant BECAUSE of Helen.

I have never once heard anyone say she is on a 'journey'. *shudder*

BB has given her the hardest time of anyone in the house, and she has never painted herself as a victim, spoken about how she was victimized, or in any other way bowed down to the stresses placed upon her. The fanbase may say it, but she herself hasn't indicated in any way that she was fazed by it or is capitalizing on it. I can only imagine the histrionics of some of the other HM's if they had to walk in her shoes.

But saying that shows how close minded you are because without Helen we can't possibly know what the show, or the HM's would have been like without her nasty cloud hanging over them.

I don't decide who I want to win from what BB choose to show me, but from what I manage to see for myself sifting through the rubble. The uploads this series have been much much better than the main highlights.
Next year, if they have another BB, I would prefer live feed, uploads and NO main highlights show, just a serious discussion show each night. Bit on the Side type show but with a mature audience instead of a retarded audience.

Yes we do, we saw it for the first 5 weeks. Ashleigh out of Helen's radar = pod dwelling mute.

Not really sure what this has to do with my post.

But clips are also shown to you "from BB" in small chunks and most of them make up about 10-15 minutes of extra footage and tend to be tiny edited snippets of a larger situation.

No amount of "sifting through the rubble" makes a difference with the absence of live feed.

That she's had the hardest time? :laugh2: It hasn't happened.

Lwize 02-08-2014 04:43 AM

Ashleigh is this year's winner already.

And she's only 18! Did any of you know she's only 18? I can't believe she's only 18.

(Chris is probably wishing she was 28)

OH FFS, not another Asheleigh hero worship thread. Cant you just use up the other ones first. Its blocking the site up. The sheer weight and volume of hatred against her must tell you she isn't going to win and Helen is the top girl even if she didnt have a pass. Your obsession is becoming both concerning and endearing at the same time.

MrWong 02-08-2014 09:04 AM

Congrats to Ashleigh :cheer2: Last girl standing!

Helen doesn't count obvs.

Yes congrats to Ashleigh, last girl standing.

and you are right Helen doesnt count because she is not a girl so congrats to Helen, last woman standing.

Beastie 02-08-2014 09:14 AM

I like Ashleigh as a housemate and wouldn't mind her winning up to 125 grand. I think she would spend the money well. A nice start out to her life for her and her boyfriend.

But I think the ones all left would appreciate up to 125 grand. Or 130 in Mark's case.

karezza 02-08-2014 09:18 AM

It's a pity that she's odious and hateful.

There are more Ashleigh hate threads on here masterminded by the same people....

I just love the fact that people like to talk about her so much.

I think she is going to win as well and I believe in fairies and Santa clause. When was the last bitch voted as a winner, please tell me, I cant seem to find one. She has more chance of knitting fog or platting sea mist than she has of winning this show. She is just plain nasty and being voted the most interesting HM was simply because people cant figure out how nasty she is but can be popular at the same time, hence interesting, not because she is loved.

There are nasty people in this world, Ashleigh is not one of them

"She is a vegetarian and is a big fundraiser for a re-homing centre for cats and dogs due to her love of animals." from her bio

Pic of Ashleigh and puppy Gucci and a quote from Dalai Lama

She is lovely and caring

I'm a veggie and love animals, but I can be a right bitch at times, just because you do things like that doesn't necessarily make you a nice person.

The Oracle definitely cant see her winning, in fact if you go back and read my post at the beginning of the series, you will see that I am 14/14 right about every single housemate so far and Winston will be victorious. I can see Ashleigh battling out 3rd with Helen or Ash with Christopher and Winston in the last 2. YOU CAN TAKE THAT TO THE BANK, because I am very rarely wrong.

Guess that will now be 14/15.

Bitch ;)

Im backing her to win, stranger things have happened. Aaron BB12 and Rachel Rice spring to mind.

The fact we haven't had a female winner in years may also sway the public to vote for her. Keep the Ashleigh threads coming its fun to watch her haters get so pissed off yet join in the discussion at the same time lol.

abhorson 02-08-2014 01:53 PM

So much fun. Loving a futile exercise.

Achilles 02-08-2014 01:57 PM

Day 59 10:00am Ashleigh has just woke up after having a dream of winning Big Brother. Her fans are listening intently.

Day 59 1:00pm Ashleigh is cleaning the kitchen. Her fans are helping.

:hehe:

Plants have feelings. Prince Charles talks to them, why are we applauding her because she eats poor plants, I personally think its disgusting and all that make up she wears, isn't she sparing a thought for all the poor animals they are tested on.

The veggie crap, the dog, the back story....these are all designed to make you go aawwwwww. It is seemingly working though.

Marsh. 02-08-2014 02:49 PM

Exactly.

She's actually surpassing Deana as the most overrated waste of space.
