Celebrity Big Brother 14 Ratings Thread

So what do you think the launch will get, my bet is 2.2-2.3ish overnight with 2.6 official. What do you think? Post your predictions!

Denver 06-08-2014 09:15 PM

I think between 3-4 mill if its advertised

Will. 06-08-2014 09:17 PM

[QUOTE=adamski94;7136248]I think between 3-4 mill if its advertised[/
Possible

Cal. 06-08-2014 09:19 PM

3 million overnights.

Official probably 3.6 million.

Jay. 06-08-2014 09:22 PM

I'm guessing 2 million.

Samm 06-08-2014 09:23 PM

2.1

Jake. 06-08-2014 09:23 PM

2.4 million overnight, 2.75 official (both for the launch)

Gstar 06-08-2014 09:25 PM

Over 2m but not 3

Kai Anders 06-08-2014 10:16 PM

2.2 mil overnight.. Maybe 2.5 official.

For this series of BB it got like just over 2 mil for the first launch.. And only around 100K or so catch up on +1.. Plus I suspect many just aren't interested after bad hype with the regular series! I'm hoping for 2.5 overnight.. But I'll settle way less as the British public are so hard to understand

Maxxie. 06-08-2014 11:49 PM

It should defo get over 3m otherwise it'll be the lowest launch ever which i doubt will happen based on the success of january's series. I think it'll beat last year's summer edition but not january's one. 3.46 official i think

duclos 07-08-2014 03:06 AM

Idk. Maybe around 2.5 overnights and 2.75-2.8 officials? I know this series was bad in some peoples opinions but with the higher popularity of CBB and people giving it another chance, I think it could be a very highly rated launch

Rob! 07-08-2014 03:47 AM

2.3 at the most tbh. The summer celeb series is just not needed and the ratings usually reflect that.

AbbieJ 07-08-2014 04:40 AM

2.4 at the most I'm guessing

thediaryroomchair 08-08-2014 06:08 AM

It will depend very much on who is going in and whether it will be publicised in print, on TV and on billboards.

Will. 08-08-2014 08:19 AM

It will be interesting to find out considering how good CBB 13 was and the How not so good BB 15 is

mrmattybeck1 09-08-2014 11:31 AM

1.8m I reckon

Will. 09-08-2014 11:35 AM

I don't know, might be a little low.

Will. 09-08-2014 08:57 PM

Not sure if having that Gotham preview will decrease or increase ratings, because people might turn over to another channel as it starts at 9:05, as they might start watching tv just before 9PM. Not sure though, as long as it gets higher or the same as last summers CBB then that's reasonable.

zakman440 09-08-2014 11:49 PM

I'll say around the 2 million Mark for the launch.

neneu10 10-08-2014 02:15 PM

2.6

mrmattybeck1 10-08-2014 02:28 PM

Don't think it will get any more than 2m

Rob! 11-08-2014 02:04 AM

2.2 at the very most. People have been pretty down this series and they'll probably want a break from BB.

Possibly but I think are looking forward to CBB due to BB being not so good.

*mazedsalv** 11-08-2014 03:54 PM

No more than 2.5m surely because it seems people have switched off this BB and probably can't be bothered or don't know about it.

mrmattybeck1 11-08-2014 04:01 PM

I'm sticking with 2m be surprised if its any higher

jackc1806 11-08-2014 04:27 PM

2.6million

daniel-lewis-1985 13-08-2014 01:43 PM

Probably about 1.9/2.1 tbh.

There's been little promo and I think people have had their fix of BB for this year now, I personally cant wait for BB15 to be over but feel obligated as a die hard fan to finish watching it.

The public need a breather BB15 has been exhausting.

mrmattybeck1 13-08-2014 03:11 PM

1.24m for bbuk last night without plus one

mrmattybeck1 13-08-2014 03:13 PM

Oops wrong thread

Kai Anders 13-08-2014 10:10 PM

Do you guys think Power Trip will affect the CBB ratings.. I mean.. if you remove the first Celebrity Series, each Winter AND Summer series has improved in ratings.

I've not included CBB8, purely because of the show's placement in the year.. with no lead up from BB.

CBB9 (WINTER) - 2.6M
CBB11 (WINTER) - 2.8M +200K
CBB13 (WINTER) - 3.1M +300K

CBB10 (SUMMER) - 2.2M
CBB12 (SUMMER) - 2.3M +100K

Will CBB14 HIT 2.4M - following the statistic we see, or will CBB finally hit a downward track like regular BB has?

I heard the other day that BB12 had 1.61m, BB13 had 1.63m officially, so considering Power Trip (BB15) is the lowest watched on record (1.58 currently) is this finally evidence that the show is slowing down.. despite excellent ratings last year for both BB and CBB that was not expected!

If it adds 400k like it did last year then that still leaves it just under 2.0 officially.

Im pretty certain this will also be the lowest rated CBB because theres not really any buzz. There is promo on other channels though so hopefully that will help.

If it rates under 2 million it really will be a disaster.

Viacom owned channels have started to promote the series good to see

CBB12 overnight ratings last summer for launch was 2.83m. No way will it reach that. (3.18m official).

CBB13 in January launched to an overnight of 3.40m. (3.69m official)

Will. 17-08-2014 03:25 PM

should be interesting to find out! Emma was on Heart, listening whilst in the car and I didt her mention CBB but I only heard 10 mins.

Samm 17-08-2014 03:28 PM

Emma is always on Heart on Sundays

mrmattybeck1 18-08-2014 10:44 PM

2.3m I'm saying

Loukas 19-08-2014 12:28 AM

With the buzz on social media including it trending worldwide as well as all the twitter trends being about CBB in the UK for a majority of the launch i'm guessing a healthy 3.1m including +1

MattHooper 19-08-2014 08:41 AM

2.36m last night, 12.6% share
Don't know if this includes +1 or not

ruiphillips 19-08-2014 08:42 AM

Fantastic rating. Just goes to show, the GP weren't here for the rubbish BB series which has promoted x10 more.

Cal. 19-08-2014 08:43 AM

It's picked up nearly 600k from the final of BB15 :o
