1.2% in the final vote between Helen and Ashleigh
|
So close.
|
Only 1.2% in the final vote.
|
1.2% of pure FIX :fist:
|
basically joint winners imo
|
I now wish I voted a few more times for Ashleigh :( this will be a good thing for Helen though, I think she has genuinely learnt from the experience and has gone from being so hated to liked and winning. But Ashleigh should have won. Darn it. She is so beautiful tonight
|
Deserving top 2 and i think everyone expected it to be close

i never understood why they don't. i get we have no live feed because they can manipulate the show how they want. but what's the harm in releasing the figures after the series is over? |

anyone think the producers actively used their own phone lines to vote for helen when they knew it was that close?
what sounds the better newspaper headline for such a tacky show "18 year old wins bb" or "rooney prostitute wins bb"? |
I don't believe for one second the result wasn't determined before the show even started, I could be wrong but i just get the feeling this was constructed from start to finish

Not at you...but at the result!!

How on earth Helen's voting block could achieve this is beyond comprehension.....Channel 5 seriously needs to revise their voting process to reflect actual viewer preferences!
|
Ashleigh looked so hot tonight.
But where Ashleigh fans ****ed up was when they was voting for other Housemates when they really should've been just voting for Ashleigh. |

1.2% of 5,000,000 calls is 60,000 calls....not so close then huh!
....The point that i'm trying to make is that unless we know just how many votes were cast...we don't really know how close it was...and simply saying 1.2% is meaningless! ....for all we know, there could have been even more votes than the 5,000,000 that I plucked from the air at random...and Emma might just have been trying to make Ashleigh feel better?....well, you never know! |

This makes me even happier tbh, the fact they were so close proves that they really were the best housemates of the series :clap1:
|
1.2% for a winner is still 1.2% more than someone else got.

And should i have lined CH5's pockets even more than i did in my effort to make Ashleigh BB15 winner? Hmmm... |

It really is as simple as that. Ok, Helen got a pass to the final but if she was deeply loathed she would have come 6th. Not win. The "sour grapes" contingent need to ponder long and hard on that. ;) |

However it was a very close run battle and well deserved top 2 placings in my view for them both, obviously I am pleased helen won but credit to Ashleigh, she took the result great and they really have been the stars of this series, for me anyway. No matter how close the result, sadly there has to be only one winner. |

I couldn't tell you just how many votes there has been for the last few years...and I know that the viewing figures have dropped since the 2004 final....but the voting figures from then were that 6,363,325 votes were cast during the 2004 live final of Big Brother 5. [Nadia's final] http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/4586995.stm ...and I have of course, no way of knowing what today's averages are, but i've a sneaky feeling that the intense rivalry between the fans of the two main protagonists Helen and Ashleigh might well have driven up the figures this year. ....Don't you think that is possible? |
