About Lex.
 

I'm not sure i'm putting this in the right place, but i'm sure that someone will move it anyway.

Hello everyone, my name is Alex and i've just dropped in to let you know that my father (who you know as Lex) sadly passed away at four minutes past three am on Wednesday the 20th August. He peacefully passed away in his sleep after a very short illness, which has many contributing factors, (but as he would have said himself, basically old age.)
He will be missed fantastically by all who knew him, including his ten children, his nineteen grandchildren, his twenty four great grandchildren and his four great great grandchildren, not to mention other family members and his countless friends and acquaintances.
The reason that i'm leaving this message is that I know that my dad has spent many happy hours over the last few years , talking and arguing with you guys. And as I know just how important that his chosen forums and friends there were to him , that he would have wanted me to pop in here to thank you guys for the friendship that he treasured on this (and the other three forums that he was on), and to wish you all well, and bid you a last fond farewell.

My condolences, He was a big poster in the civilian BB this year but I never spoke to him, R.I.P man. Alot of respect for you for letting the forum know.

I'm so sorry to hear that, he seemed like a lovely guy.

this is so sad. i didn't know lex at all but it's incredibly sad when there's any death, even worse when it's someone part of the same community :(

I never spoke to him, but I always did see Lex post around and reply to other members. He'll definitely be missed. You and the rest of Lex's family have my condolences :(

Oh God Im so sorry for your familys loss Alex.
Lex was a great poster and will be sorely missed by a lot of people on here.

Always passionate about big brother we both fought each others corner and occasionally clashed over opposing opinions about the show as well. I always came away with nothing but respect for Lex's sense of fun and obvious love of the show and enjoyment in posting on here about it.

Lex made a real impression on here i spoke to him a lot and i will miss him sorely. :(

OMG I am actually feeling very sad now. I feel like I lost a mate. Lex, if you are listening, If there is a forum up there mate, I will see you soon, save me a place. RIP mate.

So sorry to hear of Lex's passing. I lost my own Dad also and I still miss him so much. I always enjoyed Lex's posts and he was a brilliant contributor. My love and hugs go to you and your family xxxxx

There is a lot of love on here for Lex and i hope that brings comfort to you to see it. He was a great poster on here, full of intelligence and warmth and will absolutely be missed.

..I'm so sorry Alex...your dad was a great and much respected poster during BB ..he always gave much thought to the things he said..so sorry for your loss...

I remember him a few months ago saying to me that he reckons that he doesn't have much longer left to live.

He was a great laugh on the forum and he'll be sadly missed on here and obviously with his family, R.I.P Lex, I hope that you're in a happy place.
