Audley was right about pushing the button when James told him not too, but when Audley was right James kept saying to him You should of pressed it when he was going to in the first place :think:

probably because audley repeated himself approximately 6 times and another 3 when gary returned. I would imagine that would definitely begin to irritate.

Ola seems very happy with James. They have been married 8 years I believe and in a phone call to BOTS last night she said James has a good heart, means well and is very loyal. She knows him better than we do.
David also said in his interview that James is the one who has patience with Gary and looks after him the most. Did you not see it?
I think he can be a knob at times but he's growing on me.

..well she married him...of course she sees those qualities. It's knowing where to find the line between being helpful without being patronising and condescending. He is trying portray the image of being kind and caring but it's not genuine because he then goes and slags Gary off behind his back and making sly demeaning innuendos. The guys fake...all he cares about is his image.

what? I'm supporting him because I like him and I'm enjoying what entertainment he's bringing to this show which is keeping me watching. I don't think I was 'wrong' about him because I didn't have expectations?

I disagree. However patronizing James comes across, he is still the only one who is being helpful to Gary and spending the most time with him while the rest just avoid him. Therefore as Gary isn't the easiest person to help he probably has more reason to get exasperated while the others get off scot free for not caring enough to even try. The others slag him off, laugh at him and ignore him yet the hate is exclusively for James.

I don't think he's fake, I think he's kind hearted but with a rather unfortunate manner and a deadpan sense of humour.
Gary has an unfortunate manner too, but that's okay...

I guess James just needs to never go near him, let him risk a fall in the shower, let him struggle with his own cases like the others do, and just have a good time for himself. Then maybe he wouldn't be as hated?

hes has suggested hitting gary a few times, he was slagging him off fthe second he left the room, though hed just claimed he wasnt two faced...james lied about the audley conversation and even called big brother a liar for quoting back his slagging session with stephanie...he pretended to be outraged when gary joined in james' anal sex messing around with leslie, to try win the gay vote....he talked down to gary endlessly, he even insulted him a few times under his breath......he then proceeded to try and give him a moral lecture. gary took it all in his strode thanked him and left the room

David said James was the only one who helped Gary out and admitted that he and the others avoided him. Why would he lie? He said Gary was manipulative and rude and he was the one living with him in the house. Why would he lie?

Tbf his reason for saying he was manipulative was something to do with Gary's hearing. Sounds like bullsh*t to me.

And it's not about lying, it's about opinion. David's opinion is that when James approaches Gary and lectures him about his behaviour then talks sh*t behind his back it is helping, and that's fair enough. My opinion is that that is not helping! :laugh:

He wasn't talking about James lecturing him, he was talking about practical help as far as I understood it.

Oh like offering to help him in the shower etc.? Yeah I'm sure David wasn't lying that James offers help and we've seen him do it a few times. Fair enough!
