there'll be 8 english bullies sitting in the house, 8 english bullies sitting in the house

now if more anti american english bullies get booted down the stairs

we'll have a yank legend and a french eccentric given more air time, a yank legend and a french eccentric with more air time in the house

and wed have a far better show for everyone to enjoy

Bullies? Grow up.

It's childish to throw that word out at the first sign of a divide/disagreements.

It's not about that at all. There is a criticism to be made of some of their treatment towards Gary. "Bully" is not the correct word.

Not to mention not all of the English housemates are treating him badly.

I think it's fairly pointless to make a point of nationality too.

I had an argument with my friends the other day because we didn't agree about something someone said, does that make me a bully as well?

I literally have no idea what you're talking about.. So I'm going to leave, maybe I'll discuss it with you once you start making relevant or correct statements.

Joined in what? Talking about him? That's not bullying.

Lauren is English and you said they're all bullies so surely you have something about Lauren that makes her a bully by your own words.

Even in the many years where zero Americans entered the house? :pat:

Seems like more than me missed whatever point you were trying to make OP

Lwize 28-08-2014 03:41 AM

Considering the GB public voted a bully to win BB, the bullies in CBB have nothing to worry about.

if you had another eight people alongside you agreeing with you, I'm sure your friend would have felt, harassed ,intimidated, threatened. whatever you call it, its bullying. :nono::nono:

Lauren is English and you said they're all bullies so surely you have something about Lauren that makes her a bully by your own words.

however you try to defend it, gary is being bullied. I have not seen lauren do anything against gary, but when you are an onlooker, and you do nothing, when you see someone being picked on, and unable to stand up for themselves properly. then you are just as guilty as the people/person doing the bullying, be it directly or indirectly (to his face or behind his back) the man has had brain surgery following an accident, is partially deaf, is almost 70 years of age. harassment, picking on, ignoring, isolating someone, its all bullying. shame on them, and shame on anyone who thinks its ok to treat an elderly person this way. :nono::nono:

Ammi 28-08-2014 04:36 AM

..whether it's thought to be a valid thread or not in the opinions of it, it wouldn't be by any means the first 'pointless thread' which probably gives it an opinion to challenge/debate which is enough really without being personal to the OP for making it...with behaviour in the house being criticised this all seems kind of ironic to me...

..anyway, I don't think this is a 'UK V US' thing, with Gary in particular I think the other housemates just have trouble understanding him and they really don't seem to have the patience required to try harder...celebrities in general though whoever they are not generally known for their patience but more their own self publicity/promotion in being part of BB...

I've not defended anything but stated a fact; it is not bullying.

Tip 28-08-2014 05:30 AM

If Gary feels bullied then I'd give the accusation some credence.

I do wonder if he'd feel seriously patronised by the way some people (outside the house) seem to view him.

..yeah I personally don't think it's bullying as such but just quite unpleasant and uncomfortable when a 'group' ridicule and mock one person the way they can with him sometimes...

Ammi 28-08-2014 05:35 AM

..it's also hard though to define bullying as such...

Tip 28-08-2014 06:38 AM

I just watched the vid from last night - so yeah, it is pretty uncomfortable viewing.

That's total bull and you know it.. A group of people having a disagreement or not liking someone, is not bullying, I wish people would stop throwing that word around so easily because it makes a mockery of people who have actually been bullied.

A group of people disliking someone is not bullying but how they act on it can be.
